Carla M.
MemberI got one mostly out of curiosity and honestly the coffee stain thing depends on where you are with them. My stains were pretty set in and I didn’t see them disappear, but after a few weeks I did notice the front teeth looked a bit brighter overall. It’s not magic, but it wasn’t nothing either.

MemberI ended up grabbing a spare card anyway since I like having backups for long trips.

MemberI’ve been using mine for ash for months and it handles it fine, just empty it before it gets too full.

MemberI’ve got one on my tablet and honestly the size thing never even crossed my mind until I saw this thread. It’s such a small little disc that it just looks like part of the design, especially if you don’t put it dead center. I stuck mine near the corner on the back and I forget it’s there half the time. My tablet has a smooth back though, so I can’t speak to the textured part, but I did put one on my kindle which has that soft rubbery feel and it’s held on fine for a few months now. No peeling or anything weird.
I think if you’re already used to seeing it on your phone, the tablet will feel no different. Just pick a spot that’s out of the way and you’re good.

MemberI actually kind of like that they’re not as loud on calls, if that makes sense? For me it feels more like a natural conversation level, like I’m not getting blasted with the other person’s voice. I’ve had other earbuds where call audio was so loud it was almost jarring when they spoke. With these I just find myself talking at a normal volume instead of feeling like I’m shouting.
I did notice it takes a second to adjust when you switch from music to a call because the difference is pretty noticeable. But once I’m a couple minutes into the conversation I don’t really think about it anymore. I mostly use them for quick calls while I’m doing stuff around the house, so maybe that’s why it doesn’t bother me. I could see it being more annoying if you’re on calls all day for work though.
28 de August de 2026 at 05:30 in reply to: Qinux BlackOptic without an SD card, can you still use it? #8383Carla M.
MemberMostly you’re fine without one, it’ll still show you everything on the screen and work for your walks. That said, I found mine really easy to accidentally hit the capture button on when I’m just carrying it around. You won’t lose any viewing ability, but you might end up with a bunch of “saved” files that go nowhere until you do pop a card in.

MemberI actually have one for my shepherd and the vibration mode does help with pulling, but it took a few walks for her to connect it with the behavior. It’s not magic, you still have to be consistent with when you trigger it. The sound mode does nothing for her though, she just ignores it completely.
26 de August de 2026 at 01:23 in reply to: Does the Vital Shoulder Massager actually stay on your shoulder without holding it? #8082Carla M.
MemberIf you’re mostly sitting still, it’s totally fine, but I wouldn’t expect it to hold up during any real movement.
24 de August de 2026 at 09:46 in reply to: Qinux Zindoggo safe zone vs old fence setting, how exact is it? #7957Carla M.
MemberI think part of it comes down to where you put the fence. In open areas mine seems to ping pretty close to the line, but near the house or trees it gets a bit fuzzy and I’ll get the alert a little after he’s already crossed. It’s never been so far off that I couldn’t figure out where he went though.

MemberI stuck mine up with the adhesive hooks about two months ago and it’s still hanging there fine. I did wipe the wall down first with a damp cloth and let it dry completely before pressing it on. The only thing I’d say is I made sure to give it a good firm press for a few seconds. It’s light enough that I don’t really worry about it.
14 de August de 2026 at 19:07 in reply to: Dustaclean on car cup holders, or is that pushing it? #7170Carla M.
MemberI have to disagree with the people saying it won’t fit. I keep mine in the glove box specifically for this and it does a great job on my cup holders. The slim nozzle gets down in there without any issue for me, even with the little grippy things at the bottom. I just use it after my kids leave their snack messes everywhere.
11 de August de 2026 at 18:36 in reply to: Does the Hewelth UVClean need to be charged before first use? #6977Carla M.
MemberI’d just plug it in while you get everything else set up. For me it wasn’t completely dead out of the box, but I didn’t want to risk starting a cycle and having it die halfway through. A little top up while I washed the bottle and filled it worked fine, then I was good to go.
9 de August de 2026 at 18:19 in reply to: Does Repellio work in a garage or is it mainly for indoor rooms? #6841Carla M.
MemberI actually think people undersell how well these things do in garages. Mine has been plugged into an outlet in my garage for over a year now, and it’s been working fine the whole time. The cold never seemed to bother it, even when we had that rough stretch of freezing temps last winter. I didn’t notice any change in how often I’d see mouse droppings, which was basically never after the first couple of weeks.
The one thing that surprised me is that I think it works even better out there because there’s usually less furniture and clutter blocking the soundwaves than in a cluttered bedroom or living room. I had a friend who used one in a storage room packed with boxes and said it didn’t do much, but that’s kind of on the setup, not the device itself. As long as you’ve got an outlet somewhere near where the mice are coming in, I’d say go for it.
7 de August de 2026 at 22:13 in reply to: Has anyone ever lost stuff in the sand at the beach and found it later? #6722Carla M.
MemberI dropped my favorite flip flop once and it showed up a month later, so there’s definitely hope.
2 de August de 2026 at 13:59 in reply to: ClairLite UV lamp safe to run while I’m in the next room? #6329Carla M.
MemberThat settles it then, I’ll just shut the door and use the remote from the hallway. I figured I was overthinking it, but I’d rather feel a little silly asking than have that nagging worry in the back of my head every time I use it. Looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference in the bathroom.
Carla M.
MemberI kind of expected that smell honestly. Most things with a heating element do that when they first get used, like a brand new space heater. It never really bothered me though, I just figured it was part of the deal. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it sticks around for a week or so.
