I’ve had the Qinux PolarBreeze on my desk for a few days and it’s fine for cooling me while I work. But I’m thinking of moving it to the bedroom for overnight use. Does the quiet operation actually hold up when you’re trying to sleep, or is there a noticeable hum? I don’t need it silent, just not distracting. Anyone tried it overnight?

The hum is there but it’s more of a low whirr than anything annoying. I ran it on low overnight and forgot about it after ten minutes. Medium is where it starts to bug me a little if I’m trying to fall asleep.

Mine’s been on my nightstand for about two weeks now and the noise is fine on the lower settings. The higher speeds get a bit too whiny for me though, so I just leave it low. If you’re used to any kind of fan running while you sleep, it won’t bother you.

I moved mine to the bedroom last week and it’s been fine. The lower speeds blend into the background enough that I stopped noticing it after a night or two. It does make some noise, just nothing that kept me up.
