It’s not supposed to cover up smells, it’s supposed to make the place smell bad to rodents. Worked fine in my crawlspace, but you still have to seal up gaps or it’s pointless.

Mine is not totally quiet but I barely notice it after a few minutes. Works fine for me.

I noticed the battery goes down a bit faster on TV, but it’s not like it dies in twenty minutes or anything. I usually just play plugged in anyway if I’m on the TV.

Mine runs a fair bit in a room without great insulation, but it still keeps the area around me comfortable. I wouldn’t say it’s useless or anything.

I think it does a decent enough job. It’s not going to make a noisy place quiet, but you can hear people better without it getting too messy. I wouldn’t stress too much about it.

The 200mAh backup battery is tiny so it’s not like it’s hammering your car battery all night. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
