It’s just standard AAs, nothing proprietary about it. I wouldn’t waste money on fancy batteries for a mug stirrer.
I’d say it’s probably trying to do both, but I wouldn’t bet on it being a game changer for acne. The blue light might take the edge off a pimple here and there, but it’s not replacing a real spot treatment or anything. If you’re mainly after breakouts, I’d look elsewhere first.
I’d probably worry less about the voice recognition being perfect and more about whether the device actually pronounces the words right in the first place. If the playback sounds off, repeating it won’t help much.
I’d just try it and see. Battery life isn’t amazing but for a small patio with some moss it’ll probably get the job done before it dies.
I doubt keeping it plugged in is going to wear anything out. These things are basically cheap little computers, they’re meant to be powered up most of the time. If your TV’s USB port stays live after you turn it off, it’s still just sipping a tiny bit of power, not enough to matter.
If the suction is noticeable on skin, it’s probably fine for most situations. A piece of bread off a counter is one thing, but I’d want to see it tested on something denser before I feel completely sure. Not like I’m planning to test it on myself, though.
Six months is probably optimistic but mine’s been fine for about five now. Still showing full battery in the app and I use it daily for my keys. Not complaining.
Drafty rooms are tough for any spot heater, honestly. If the cold air is constantly leaking in, the CoolCove will probably struggle to keep up unless you seal the drafts first. It works fine for maintaining temp in a normal room, but it’s not a miracle worker. I’d fix the drafts and then see if you actually need it.
Kinda weird that people make a big deal about the app icon. I’d be more interested in whether the Bluetooth connection drops out on one OS more than the other.
Honestly, I’ve got one and the screen is always on, but it’s not some blinding light. It’s more like a dim clock display, barely noticeable unless you’re staring right at it. Wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
From what I remember, the low speed is supposed to give you around 8-10 hours, so it should be fine for a full night. I’d still keep the cord nearby just in case, but I doubt you’ll need it.
It’s a budget drone, so I wouldn’t expect cinema-level specs. If the footage looks smooth enough to use, that’s basically what you paid for.
Honestly, even if it does just snap on and off, I’d still want to check how tight the fit is after a few uses. Sometimes those clip things loosen up once they get greasy.
I don’t really care about the heating side, I bought mine just for cooling and it’s fine for a small room if you sit close enough. The heating being stronger doesn’t bother me since I’d never use it anyway.

Mine works fine from maybe 8 feet, so yours might just be a dud. I keep mine on my desk at work though, so I’m never really trying to use it from across a big room. Might be worth exchanging if it bugs you.
I use mine mostly for naps on the couch and it does seem to help me drop off faster. The cord length hasn’t been an issue for me since I just plug it into a nearby strip.
I wouldn’t worry too much about it falling off. Mine’s been on the wall for a couple months now and it’s still up there. The hooks seem solid enough for something this light.
Floor works best if you want the traction to actually do something. On a soft mattress it just sinks in and you don’t get the same stretch.
It’s probably just the water sitting. Most of these coolers get a bit funky if you leave water in them, especially in warmer weather. I wouldn’t overthink it, but emptying it when you’re done isn’t a bad idea.
I’ve had the same thing happen with my phone in the passenger seat, but honestly it could just be the cable getting jostled at a bad angle. Hard to say if it’s the distance or just bad luck with interference.
TV mode is probably fine for a quiet room. That’s basically what it’s designed for. I wouldn’t expect miracles but it should help with the dialogue you’re missing.
Walls definitely matter for some of these controllers, especially if it’s just a cheap IR thing. Distance alone usually isn’t the issue until you’re way far, but a wall or two can kill the signal quick. Could also just be the hotel room layout messing with it more than usual.
Mine holds the angle fine on a desk, no slipping issues. The tilt range is decent enough for me but I wouldn’t call it huge. Stiffness feels about average, not loose.
