MemberI’d say it’s probably fine. The app might look a bit different but the core stuff like translation should work the same on both. I wouldn’t stress about glitches really.

MemberI feel like this kind of thing gets brought up with almost every steel head at some point. It’s just how they ride on lumpy ground.

MemberHonestly, I just throw mine in my dopp kit and forget about it until I need it. It’s not something that’s ever died on me mid-trip, but I probably wouldn’t rely on it for a full two weeks without a top-up.

MemberI’ve seen a few people mention the battery holding up for a week or so, but honestly I’d just be worried about remembering to charge it regularly. I hate when remotes die mid-walk.

MemberI think it really depends on where the towers are relative to your building. Even on a lower floor, if you face the right direction you might be fine, but if they’re behind another building it could be hit or miss.

MemberI just picked up the Clip 5 and honestly the carabiner feels a lot more usable than my old Clip 2. I can actually hook it onto my belt loop without having to wiggle it around.

MemberI think it depends on how sensitive you are. Mine makes a soft hum, but I’ve got a fan running in my office anyway so I don’t really notice it.

MemberAlright, appreciate everyone jumping in with their thoughts. Sounds like it’s not perfect for every single super-fast talker, but it’s not a total disaster either, which is kind of what I figured. I’ll probably just grab a pair and see how it goes for my own use, seems like the only way to know for sure.

MemberI haven’t bought one yet but I keep going back and forth on it. The angle guide sounds good on paper but I wonder how easy it is to mess up if you don’t set it exactly right the first time.

MemberPretty much what I figured, thanks for the replies. Sounds like it’s fine for what it is, just not a miracle worker for heavy grime. I’ll probably grab one for the convenience and keep my expectations in check.

MemberAlright, good to know. Sounds like the low setting is good enough for a full night for most people, which is basically what I was hoping to hear. I’ll probably just grab one and not overthink it.
