I’ve seen a few people mention the ear tips helping, but honestly I think it’s kind of hit or miss. The fit never felt super locked in to me when I tried them, so I’d be a little cautious if you’re doing a lot of high intensity jogging. Maybe worth a shot if you can return them easily.
I think I’m in the 8-10 week camp usually. My guy’s fur doesn’t seem to get too crazy unless I slack off, then it’s more like 12 weeks. The eye trim thing is real though, I just snip that myself when it looks shaggy.
I skimmed a couple replies and it sounds like people are having decent luck with the privacy zones for blocking out specific spots. I haven’t really pushed mine to the limit with something thin like a branch, but for blocking a big reflection off a window it worked no problem. Seems like it’s worth trying at least.
I’ve got a different experience honestly. I ran mine on low light with the repellent off and got closer to 20 hours before it gave out. Sounds like the repellent function is really what’s eating your battery.
I’ve had mine for a few weeks on Fedora and it’s honestly fine for daily use. Bluetooth pairs without issues and the battery lasts forever compared to my old mouse. You do lose the side button customization, but for just clicking around and scrolling it works exactly like you’d expect. Not a dealbreaker unless you really need those extra buttons.
I just got the Clip 5 and the carabiner is definitely a bit bigger than the old one. It’s easier to get onto my backpack strap for sure, but I still have to fumble with it a little on thicker belt loops. Works fine for what I use it for though.
Nah, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I’ve had mine out on a few breezy nights and it’s stayed put just fine. I just use a couple of bungee cords instead of tape and it’s never gone anywhere.
I think it really depends how sensitive you are to fan noise in general. I’ve heard mixed things about it, but most people seem to say the low setting is fine for sleeping.
I’d probably just test it on a tiny hidden spot first before going anywhere visible. Better to find out the hard way somewhere nobody looks.
I’ve had mine a couple weeks and just leave it running all night. It’s quiet enough that it doesn’t wake me up, and my room stays warm without the central heat kicking on. Hard to say about the bill yet though.
I’ve been using mine in the bedroom for about a week now and honestly I think it helps. I’m not waking up scratching like I used to and it catches a few things overnight.

I’ve got a pretty cluttered living room too and I still notice less dust and odors after running mine, even with stuff in the way. Not totally sure it’s hitting every corner, but seems to help the air enough for me.
I barely notice it on mine, but I also don’t really pay that close attention to how tight the lid feels. Works fine when I shake it up so I guess it’s fine. Probably just the rubber wearing in a bit.
I grabbed one for my backpack and honestly it works fine for the normal range stuff. Not gonna track your bag across the airport once it’s out of Bluetooth range though.
I’d just use my own SIM and skip their plan entirely. Works fine that way, no need to mess with another account.
I think it’ll be fine for daily cooking, the ice hardening probably helps a bit. It’s not gonna stay perfect forever but I doubt you’d notice it going dull that fast.
I only got mine a few days ago too so I haven’t really tested it enough to say for sure. It caught my dog’s yappy barks fine so far but I haven’t heard the quieter ones to compare. Could just be the way yours is positioned or something maybe.
Pretty normal for these little routers. Mine gets warm after a few hours of streaming or video calls but it’s never caused any issues.
I’d just clip it to a zipper pull or something instead of leaving it dangling loose. Less chance of it getting caught on anything that way.
I usually get around 6 hours out of mine when I’m actually using the translation feature a lot. If you’re just listening or having short conversations here and there it’ll probably last longer. I’d just toss them in the case whenever you’re sitting down for a bit.
I plugged one into a 2009 hatchback and honestly didn’t notice any weird OBD2 stuff going on. No check engine lights or anything like that. I think if the port works it’ll probably just run fine.
From what I’ve seen, the LCD on the case mainly shows the case battery level. I don’t think it breaks it down per earbud, but honestly it’s not something I really noticed until you mentioned it. Works fine for me just keeping an eye on the case charge.
I’ve had mine on my desk for a few weeks now, and on medium speed it easily lasts around 4 to 5 hours before I need to plug it in. That’s with it running while I’m working, so it’s been fine for my afternoon shifts without worrying about the cord.
