MemberThe remote working from another room is pretty much the whole reason these things exist, so I wouldn’t stress about it. If the UV could get through walls, it would kind of defeat the purpose of having a wireless remote in the first place. You’re fine to just close the door and hit the button from wherever.

MemberI kind of wonder if it’s just a surface feel thing more than actually being unsafe. I don’t use mine for raw chicken much either, but I could see how it might seem slick compared to a rougher plastic board.

MemberI haven’t tested it myself but 6 days seems like one of those numbers they pick because it sounds good in ads.

MemberI’d just leave it plugged in. These sticks are designed to be powered most of the time, so I really wouldn’t worry about wearing it out. If anything, the TV’s USB port is more likely to give out before the stick does.

MemberI think people worry about drafts more than they need to with these things. As long as you sit near it, you’ll feel the heat. It’s really just a spot warmer.

MemberI wouldn’t stress about it too much. If the water feels nicer and the pressure’s still good, that’s probably the main thing.

MemberHonestly, I’ve had mine for a few months and haven’t had to do much. The outside wipes down easy, and since the filter is inside, you don’t really deal with gunk building up on the head itself. It’s less hassle than a normal one for me.

MemberI just got mine and honestly the app layout is a bit cleaner on iOS, but it’s not a big deal. I wouldn’t worry about it messing up your trip.

MemberI think it depends on where your closest broadcast towers are. I tried mine low first and got nothing, moved it up near the ceiling and it worked perfectly. If you don’t want to mess with the wall, try a few spots on the table first.
