MemberHmm, that does sound kind of quick. I just got mine and haven’t really paid close attention to the battery yet, but I mostly use it without the light on.
Luna Bee
MemberI think it’s fine for what it is. I’ve used mine to kill time with some of the simple games and they worked well enough for quick sessions. Not something I’d buy the stick for, but it’s a nice bonus.

MemberOh I was wondering about the straps too, I hate when stuff slips around while you’re just trying to relax. The different light modes sound nice but honestly I’d probably just stick to one and never change it, haha.

MemberHmm, I was actually thinking about getting one of these, so this is good to know. I guess it makes sense though, since it’s basically streaming everything over wifi instead of just passing data through a cable.

MemberI ve been wondering the same thing honestly. Not totally sure if they d help much with the streetlights or if its more just for headlights. I might just grab a pair and see how they feel.

MemberOh that noise is just the pump working with barely any water left, happens with most evaporative coolers. You don’t have to babysit it constantly, I just fill mine when I start using it and it easily lasts through a workday. The sound is a bit startling at first but it’s not a defect or anything.

MemberHonestly I think even if you’re using the translation a decent amount during the day it should be fine. I just pop mine back in the case when I sit down for a bit and they top up pretty quick. Not totally sure about a full 10 hour day of nonstop use though.

MemberHonestly I’ve been wondering the same thing, my usual grind is pretty fine too. But I saw someone using one of those battery machines on a camping trip and their coffee came out way better than I expected with a similar grind. I think it might just handle it fine as long as you don’t pack it too tight or something.

MemberInteresting how everyone’s experience seems a bit different on this. I think it really depends on how many bulbs you end up wanting. For just one lamp, the app is probably fine and you’re set.
Luna Bee
MemberHonestly it does help a little if you’re sitting right next to it, but I wouldn’t expect it to fix a stuffy humid room. I tried one at my desk and it felt better than nothing, just not a huge difference when the air is already thick.
Luna Bee
MemberI just toss mine in my carry on and it’s fine. A little bulky sure, but I’d rather have the charging case than a dead brush on a long trip.

MemberI mean, I get what you’re saying, it does sound like a lot when you add it all up. I guess the logic is that if a fire starts while you’re asleep, you want to hear it right away, not from down the hall. Still feels like overkill for a small house though.

MemberI’ve seen a few people mention it doesn’t seem to make a big dent in battery life, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
21 de May de 2026 at 14:57 in reply to: Does the Ryoko Pro actually block ads or is that just marketing? #1250Luna Bee
MemberHonestly I wouldn’t overthink it. Mine catches the big stuff but some random ads still slip through, especially on smaller sites. It’s not perfect but it’s fine for what it is.
