I got an AlarmTag recently and tried pulling the pin just to see how it works. It made a sort of soft beep for a second before the full alarm went off. Is that normal or did I get one that’s a bit weird? Not a big deal just wondering.

Yeah mine does that too. I think it’s just the alarm getting ready or something before it goes full volume.

That’s just the pre-alarm. Mine does it too. Kinda nice actually, gives you a split second to rethink before you set the whole thing off.

Mine does that too. It’s just a quick little warning beep before the full siren kicks in. I think they all do it, nothing weird about yours.

Mine does the same thing. I actually wondered at first if I was pulling it wrong or something but it seems like they all just do that little beep before the full noise. Not sure if it’s intentional but it works fine.

I kind of like that little beep actually. Makes it feel like it’s waking up before it goes full blast.

Oh, that soft beep is normal. I think it just gives the electronics a second to wake up before the full blast. Honestly, I would have been more worried if it went straight to 130dB without any warning at all.

Kinda like a little heads up before it goes off, right? I think it’s fine. I actually don’t mind it, gives me a split second to brace myself for the loud part lol.

That little beep is just the thing booting up. Mine does it too.

I’d probably just leave it be honestly. That little beep is probably nothing to worry about, mine does the same thing and it’s never been an issue.

Mine does the same thing. I just assumed it was normal and didn’t think much of it. Kind of a weird design choice if you ask me, but it doesn’t seem to affect the actual alarm.

That little beep is normal. I think it’s just the circuit starting up before it hits full volume.

It’s probably just the thing powering up before it really screams. I wouldn’t worry about it.
