MemberI think you’re fine just keeping it simple. If the app does the job for that one lamp, no reason to overcomplicate things yet. Maybe down the road if you end up wanting more bulbs it might be different, but not everyone needs a whole hub setup.

MemberI skimmed a few replies and it sounds like people are mostly split. I kind of wonder if it’s more about feeling secure than actually stopping a thief. I’d probably just end up forgetting the hidden zipper is there and get annoyed.

MemberI mean, it’s not gonna work miracles if your office is already humid, but I’ve used mine on a sticky desk and it still feels better than just a fan, especially if you throw ice in the tank. The mist helps a bit with that stuffy feeling even if it’s not actually cooling the air down much. For a desk at work, I’d say it’s worth a try just for the breeze alone.

MemberI tried one out for a few nights and it’s definitely not like sleeping on a cold gel pad or anything, but it didn’t trap heat the way my old foam pillow did. I noticed my head wasn’t sweating by morning, which was a nice change. So I’d say it’s not a total marketing gimmick, just don’t expect arctic levels of coolness.

MemberI’ve seen a few people mention it and honestly it’s not that deep. Just don’t jam the nozzle right against the paint and you’ll be fine.

MemberI keep seeing people talk about it for thick nails and honestly, I just use mine for regular upkeep and it’s been fine for that. I never even considered using it on anything super tough, so I’m curious to hear too.

MemberI’d guess without an exhaust hose it’s really just circulating air rather than actually cooling it down, so in a closed bedroom you might not notice much temp drop. I’ve seen some people say it works fine for a small space if you sit close to it, but for lowering the whole room I’m not convinced. Still seems like a decent fan with extra features, just don’t expect AC-level cooling.

MemberI’ve seen a few people say they just ignore the hole too, which makes me feel better about not getting used to it. I might just start holding it normally and see if it still feels balanced enough for everyday chopping. Good to know I’m not the only one caught off guard by it.

MemberI mean, it’s basically a pouch of plant stuff, so I’m not sure how long you expect the smell to really hang around. As long as the rodents are staying away, it’s probably doing the job even if you can’t smell it anymore.

Member15 minutes sounds short, I’m a bit skeptical it would finish a patio plus a car without stopping. I do like that it’s compact and quiet though, so maybe fine for quick touch-ups. Not totally sure, but I’d be cautious.

Member2.4 GHz is usually fine for a porch cam, better range and most cameras use it. You’ll only notice slowdowns if it’s constantly uploading HD video to the cloud.
