Different box, I guess. Mine only had the one tip already attached and a charging cable, nothing else. I ended up ordering a spare set before I even used it properly because I figured I’d wear one out fast. Would’ve been nice to know that beforehand.
Cell signal has nothing to do with how the adapter talks to your phone. It’s just Bluetooth and its own Wi-Fi between the two of them, so if that’s your only worry, you’re fine.
But since you’re asking what I’d do, I’d think harder about the USB port in your car. That’s the part that actually matters. I’ve seen people chase connection issues for weeks and it ends up being a weak or finicky USB port that drops power or data intermittently. If your car has one of those ports that’s picky about what you plug into it, no adapter is going to save you.
I’d also check if your car’s factory wired CarPlay is stable to begin with. If it’s glitchy when you’re plugged in with a cable, going wireless isn’t going to magically fix that. It just removes the cable. Everything else is still running through your car’s head unit.
So for the garage thing, don’t overthink it. Your phone can be in airplane mode and it’ll still connect as long as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are on. The signal thing is a red herring.
I’d just make sure your USB port is solid and you’ll be fine. If that port is decent, the adapter should do its job. If not, you’ll be posting again in a month asking why it keeps dropping out.
People with metal detectors comb beaches all the time, so if you know the general area, it’s not a crazy idea to check back. But honestly, the tide does a lot of damage in a week, and if it was crowded, someone probably kicked them deeper or they got swept out. I’d say the odds aren’t great, but it costs nothing to take one more look before dropping cash on new keys.

The one thing I’ll say is don’t overthink the intensity levels. I cranked it up the first week thinking more light equals better results and my gums felt a little warm and weird after. Dropped it back down a notch and it’s been fine since.
If you’re the type who needs to check your phone every few minutes, that’s going to annoy you. Just pop it in and zone out for the session.
My buddy brought one to a BBQ last summer and it barely made any noise. Nobody even looked over. The rabbit style sounds like a party popper compared to it.
Remote is alright but the noise thing people keep bringing up is valid. It’s not loud but it’s definitely not silent either. Fine if you run it before bed and let the room cool down then turn it off.
I mean, old pipes are old pipes, a showerhead filter isn’t going to re-plumb your whole house. If the pressure didn’t drop, it’s probably just doing its basic job. I’d check it after a few months if you’re that curious, but I wouldn’t expect a show.
Honestly, if you’re mostly after the gum sensitivity thing, I’d just wait. The light might not even hit your gums right with brackets blocking it, and the fit is gonna be off anyway. Seems like a waste of money until the braces are gone.

Just Bluetooth is fine. I think it only needs the app to sync the data later if you want. Not totally sure about the settings but it worked on airplane mode for a bit so you should be good.
Probably just the learning period like people keep saying. I’d give it a few days and if it still does it then start looking into it.
I’ve had mine for a few months and the handle still slides out fine. It’s not exactly sturdy but it’s not gonna break from normal use either. Just don’t yank on it.
You’re overthinking it. It’s a mouse, it moves the cursor and clicks. The default scroll speed works fine for spreadsheets and docs. The only thing that bugs me is the middle click feels a bit stiff out of the box, but you get used to it.
Lots of people seem to focus on the hair or skin stuff, but for me the difference was just that the water doesn’t smell like a pool anymore. If your water’s already soft you might not care, but that chlorine taste/smell was driving me nuts. It’s a shower head, not a miracle worker.
I get why people are curious but honestly it’s just a nozzle. If your hose pressure is weak it’s not gonna magically fix that.
Alright, thanks for the replies. Sounds like it’s decent enough for a sit-down spot but don’t expect magic in a real loud bar. That’s pretty much what I figured, so I’ll probably pass for now.
