I wouldn’t overthink it too much. Different brands make their pads a little differently and the thinner ones do tend to wear out faster, so if yours are slipping after a few weeks, that’s probably just how this model is. I’d just order a pack of replacements and move on.
I would not assume that just because it has a USB-C port it will work with every charger you own. Some devices are picky about the cable or the power output, especially if you grab one of those really thin charging cords that only do data. I have had gadgets that refuse to charge unless I use a specific cable, so I would just keep the one it comes with in your travel bag.
I was actually worried about that too when I first got mine, mostly because I get sinus issues in the winter anyway. After running it in my home office for a couple of weeks, I haven’t really noticed my skin feeling any drier than it usually does with the central heat on. It’s hard to tell if it’s the WellHeater or just the season, honestly.

I think people overthink this a bit. It’s just a scent pouch, not some high-tech solution. If you put it in a small enclosed space like a garage closet or a tool cabinet, it probably helps, but expecting it to single-handedly clear out an entire garage is asking too much.
