I wouldn’t count on it feeling like real AC. Those things just blow air over some water, so if your office is already warm and dry, it’s not going to do much.
Mine’s been like that since day one. Never changed. I’d rather have it tight than worry about it sliding out in my bag.
15 minutes sounds like it’d be enough unless you’re trying to detail every single crack. I’d say just give it a shot and see.
It worked well enough for me to frame shots on my phone but the lag makes it useless if you’re trying to follow fast moving fish or something. I just set the angle, hit record, and forget about the app. Fine for stills though.
I think you just get used to it after a few sessions. Mine felt a bit heavy at first too, but now it doesn’t bother me at all for longer projects.
Hydrophobic stuff usually fades faster than they claim in my experience. I’d be surprised if it lasts past a couple washes.
Just skimmed the replies. Sounds like it works well enough if you’re sitting near it, even with drafts. Might pick one up and see how it goes. Appreciate the input.
