I only ever use mine on the tile floor in the kitchen. I tried it on a thicker bath mat once and the numbers were all over the place, so I just never bothered with carpet again. Too much of a hassle to deal with inconsistent readings.
I keep seeing people worry about this, but honestly mine has been fine. I’ve had it running for maybe three hours straight once when I forgot I even had it going, and it was warm when I finally grabbed it, but not scary hot or anything. Just normal warm, like a phone after a long video call. It never shut down or gave me any trouble.
I think a lot of these mini cams are built with continuous recording in mind since that’s kind of the whole point. If it was going to die from heat after an hour, nobody would buy it. I’m not saying you should bake it on top of a radiator or anything, but I wouldn’t overthink it. The battery is probably what’s going to stop you before the heat does. I’d just charge it fully and maybe test it once at home while you’re still around to see how it feels.
I mean, I got mine mostly because I hate the mess from clippers and it does a decent job just keeping things tidy week to week. I haven’t tried it on anything really gnarly though, so I can’t say for sure if it’d handle your husband’s nails. It’s more of a convenience thing than a heavy duty tool to me.
It’s probably fine. I wouldn’t overthink it, these things usually clamp on tight enough to get the job done even if it feels a little snug.
I get what you’re saying about it only being a week in, but honestly, I think a lot of it depends on how much you’re actually using the GPS and alerts. I’ve had mine for a couple weeks now and I’m still not sure if the battery is really gonna hold up like they claim or if it’ll start dropping faster once the novelty wears off. I think people overthink this. I’ve used mine on a few windows around the house and just kept the nozzle on the widest setting, didn’t even bother with the lowest pressure. No issues at all, just kept it moving and didn’t hold it too close. Works fine for me.
I mean, if you’re not the type to stress over specs and just want something that works for a quick fly around, it’ll probably do the trick. The app thing is really just a one-time setup to get the live view going, not something you have to mess with every time. I wouldn’t call it overkill for casual use, it’s more like it’s just there when you want it.
I wonder if the translation feature or voice assistant drains it more than just music, I haven’t really tried those much yet. Might be worth testing on a day without calls to see if it gets closer to the advertised time.
I think it’s kind of a different thing though. The humidifier helps with dryness, but the tape is more about keeping your mouth shut so you nose breathe all night. I’ve done both and noticed less grogginess even though my throat was already fine.
I’ve seen a few people mention the flexible mouthguard thing, but I’d wonder more about whether the red light can even reach your gums properly with all that metal in the way. The brackets might just block the light from getting where it needs to go, which kind of defeats the purpose if you’re trying to fix sensitivity.
I’ve got 5 cards in mine with the Guardality and it’s tight but still closes fine. Just depends if you like a really slim feel or don’t mind a little extra bulge. I personally don’t even notice it after a day.
I just use mine and don’t overthink it too much. It does bounce a little on really uneven spots but it still cuts fine.
I wouldn’t sweat it too much honestly. It’s one of those things where if you’re both just using the earbuds normally you probably won’t even notice the difference.

Eh, probably nothing. Mine did something similar for the first day or two and then it just went away on its own. I’d just forget about it and see if it’s still there after a few more drives.

I think once you actually put your head on it, the Derila Ergo does sink down more than you’d expect from just looking at it. I was a little worried about the height too since I’m mostly a back sleeper, but it didn’t feel overly tall to me after a night or two. Not totally sure if it’s perfect for everyone, but it worked out fine for me.
I skimmed the title and honestly I wouldn’t overthink it. I’ve left mine plugged in at my desk for like two weeks straight without turning it off, fan still going, mist on and off whenever I remember to add water. It’s not some complicated gadget, it just runs until you unplug it or the water runs dry.
Yeah I figured as much after reading through these. It’s just the pump sucking air, not a defect or anything. I’ll probably still grab one, I can deal with a little noise if it means not sweating through my workday. Appreciate the input.
