MemberI only use fan mode when I want a little air movement while I sleep, and it’s definitely not going to replace a box fan or anything. For me it’s fine, just a light breeze to keep the air from getting stuffy. Maybe it depends on how close you sit to it?

MemberI put mine right in the middle of the middle shelf and honestly I still can’t tell if it’s doing much. I keep forgetting to charge it too so that probably doesn’t help.

MemberPretty common with these plug-in devices while they figure out your driving style. I wouldn’t worry about it.
2 de July de 2026 at 15:37 in reply to: Ryoko Pro still worth it if I mostly stay in one country? #4354Riley1
MemberI skimmed the thread and honestly, if you’re mostly staying in one country, the global roaming is just a bonus you might never touch. I think data saver mode is still handy for stretching your plan when you’re out and about, not just for switching countries.
28 de June de 2026 at 16:43 in reply to: TP-Link RE700X: Does it work with non-TP-Link routers in access point mode? #4062Riley1
MemberI mean, access point mode is pretty standard across most brands, so you should be fine. I’ve used extenders from other companies with non-matching routers before and never had a problem. The only thing is the app might nag you a bit during setup if it detects a different brand, but it still works. You could always just return it if it gives you trouble.

MemberI haven’t tried the Clip 5 yet but I saw one in a store and the carabiner does look a bit wider than the old one. Not totally sure if it’s a huge difference in practice though. Might depend on how thick your backpack straps are.

MemberI think mine gets a little warm too, but I only really notice it if I pick it up right after charging. Not totally sure if that’s normal but it hasn’t caused any issues with the collar working or anything. Still tracks my dog fine.

MemberI think mine might have a tiny bit of movement too but I honestly never really noticed until I saw this thread. It still clicks into each speed fine so I haven’t given it a second thought.
22 de June de 2026 at 10:30 in reply to: Hewelth ReliefChain heat mode – does it get actually warm or just kinda warm? #3622Riley1
MemberI think it’s supposed to be more of a gentle warmth than anything intense. I kind of prefer it that way since I don’t like it too hot.

MemberI haven’t swapped mine yet either, but it feels solid enough that I’m not worried about it getting loose later. It clicks on pretty firmly and hasn’t popped off during use, so that seems good enough for me.

MemberI think people get too hung up on the ice thing. I’ve run mine with just tap water plenty of times and the fan itself is still nice to have on a warm desk.
12 de June de 2026 at 08:21 in reply to: Does the Glokore Therapy Mask feel comfortable to wear? #2836Riley1
MemberIt’s not heavy at all. I barely notice it after a minute or two.
7 de June de 2026 at 10:56 in reply to: Hewelth UVClean battery life when using self-cleaning mode? #2470Riley1
MemberPretty sure the math works out to like 12 minutes of cleaning per day, which is nothing compared to what you’d use manually. I wouldn’t overthink it.
Riley1
MemberI think people might be overcomplicating it a bit. I wouldn’t stress too much about where you place it.

MemberMine’s been fine buried in my bag so far, but I also keep my ringer volume turned all the way up. I’d say just test it once with your bag packed how you normally carry it and see if it bothers you.
4 de June de 2026 at 16:14 in reply to: TopCarPlay and phone battery drain – anyone notice anything? #2276Riley1
MemberKinda figured it was just the wireless thing doing its thing. I noticed it too but honestly it’s not bad enough for me to go back to plugging in. The convenience wins out for me.
4 de June de 2026 at 11:26 in reply to: Guardality vs my old foil sleeve – any real difference? #2250Riley1
MemberHonestly I think a lot of it comes down to how much you care about the bulk. The sleeve did the job for me too but it was annoying to fish out of my bag every time. The card just sits there and I don’t have to think about it.
Riley1
MemberCould it be that the quieter ones just don’t carry far enough to trigger it? I haven’t messed with mine enough to know if there’s a setting for that. Seems like it works fine for the main barking though.
1 de June de 2026 at 10:08 in reply to: PolorVision for night driving — does it actually cut down on streetlight glare? #1990Riley1
MemberHuh, I actually hadn’t thought about streetlights when I grabbed mine. I mostly got them for the rainy highway glare and they do okay with that. The city lights are just kind of… there, I guess. Not a huge difference but not worse either.
30 de May de 2026 at 22:35 in reply to: Does the Glokore Filtered Showerhead actually help with hard water? #1879Riley1
MemberI mean, it’s a showerhead filter, not a miracle worker. If you’re expecting it to turn your hard water into bottled water you’re gonna be disappointed, but it does make the water feel a bit nicer on your skin.
Riley1
MemberI wouldn’t overthink it. Bricks are pretty tough, a steel brush head isn’t going to do much damage unless you’re really leaning into it. Should be fine for moss.
29 de May de 2026 at 13:29 in reply to: Does Repellio actually bother pets or is that just a warning? #1756Riley1
MemberI mean, cats are weird anyway so it could be a total coincidence. I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless she starts acting really off for a few days.
Riley1
MemberEh, I kind of doubt it. 20L is pretty small once you add water and snacks, and most drones with decent cameras aren’t that tiny. I’d say it’s a tight squeeze at best.
Riley1
MemberI think it’ll probably be fine for local news and sports. I’m in a ground floor apartment with buildings all around and mine picks up the main channels without much trouble. Just stick it near a window if you can.
Riley1
MemberI mean, it’s not going to work like a real AC, but for a small desk space it does help a little. The mist setting feels nice if you use cold water, but in a humid office I’d keep expectations low. I’d try it just to get some airflow going.
Riley1
MemberHuh, mine felt pretty snug right after molding too but it loosened up a bit after a few nights. Not a ton, but enough that it stopped feeling weird. I wouldn’t overthink it.
