I got closer to 35 hours before the case needed charging, and that was with ANC on maybe half the time. The 50 hour number is definitely a stretch unless you’re listening super quietly the whole time. Still decent for the price though.
Still on the fence myself but for a different reason. I mostly watch stuff with subtitles already, so the earbuds would just be a backup when subs aren’t available. Curious if anyone’s tried them on older films where the audio isn’t as clean.
I actually use mine mounted up high and the remote reaches fine from the kitchen, which is around a corner. Weird that yours won’t go through a hallway. Maybe it depends where the fan is sitting.
I actually doubt it would be that bad unless you’ve got a pile of loose paper sitting right in front of it. I’ve been looking at these bladeless ones and the airflow seems way more spread out than a normal desk fan, so it shouldn’t send stuff flying the same way. But I haven’t bought one yet so I’m mostly guessing from what I’ve seen.
Interesting, I was actually wondering about that before buying one. Battery life is kind of a dealbreaker for me since I’d probably want to move it around the house and yard. I don’t mind charging things every few days, but if it’s becoming a daily thing that would get old fast. Curious what the average is for everyone else.
If I were in your shoes, I would not buy these specifically for that one uncommon language. I would check the list first in the store or on someone else’s phone, but honestly, if my main need was a smaller language, I would probably just grab a dedicated translation app and keep my regular earbuds. It is a cool gadget, but I would not want to depend on it for something that important.
Mine do the same when I’m near a road, but I found it gets way better if I switch the call to the other earbud, the left one seems to handle noise differently than the right for me. Not sure if that’s a real thing or just my pair, but worth trying before you give up on them.
It lasts me a couple days but only if I turn the alert notifications off, otherwise the app itself drains my phone battery too.
I found the Nunawave a bit heavier in the front, but it never bothered my gums like the cheap ones did.
One thing I noticed right away is how the trigger feels. My regular nozzle has that cheap plastic squeeze handle that kind of fights you after a while. The Jetterix has a smoother pull, so you can hold it for longer without your hand getting tired. That matters more than I thought it would when you’re doing a whole driveway.
The spray itself is definitely more concentrated, but I wouldnt say it feels like a pressure washer or anything. Its more like the water is actually working instead of just dumping out. I used mine on some mossy pavers and it got most of it off without me having to scrub. The car was fine too, but I kept the wider setting for that.
If your house has decent water pressure, youll notice the difference. If your pressure is low, probably not worth it.
I switched from a regular tower fan to the PolarBreeze about three weeks ago, and honestly the comparison is still kind of fresh in my head. The old fan I had was one of those cheaper ones that just blasted air in a straight line, so you had to sit right in front of it to feel anything. With the PolarBreeze, the air feels like it wraps around you more, if that makes sense. It’s not a hard hit of wind, but I notice I don’t have to sit directly in front of it to stay cool.

The old tower fan would cool my face but my back would still be sweating. This one just feels more even. It’s not going to replace a real AC on a brutal day, but for regular use it holds up fine. That lingering smell thing is actually what I was most curious about before buying mine too. I had read all the marketing stuff about it being odor resistant, but I figured that was just typical product hype.
So my personal test came a couple weekends ago. I made a big batch of salmon and chopped a ton of fresh dill and lemon on it. Normally with my old plastic board, I swear the dill smell would hang around for days no matter how many times I scrubbed it. With the Vanotium, I rinsed it off right after and honestly forgot about it until the next morning. I went to grab it to cut some bread for breakfast and put my nose right on the surface just to check. Nothing. Like literally nothing. I was actually kind of shocked.
The garlic thing though, that’s a bit different for me. I don’t notice it on the board itself after washing, but I do catch a faint whiff when I first pull it out of the drying rack if I chopped a lot of garlic the night before. It’s not the board smelling bad, more like that last little bit of aroma that lingers in the air or on my hands and transfers. Once it’s fully dry, it’s gone.
So I guess my answer is yes, it does stay pretty odor free, but I wouldn’t say it’s magic. It’s way better than anything else I’ve used, but if you chop like half a bulb of garlic, give it a proper wash and let it dry completely before you judge it.

So I guess I went from thinking it might be too weak to realizing I didn’t need as much power as I thought. For a small room it does the job, just don’t expect it to replace an AC unit.
I think people make the phone thing sound like a bigger deal than it is. If you grab the drone just to mess around and check the footage later, you can skip the app entirely. The camera still records to the card, so you’re not losing anything except the live view. Only reason I’d say the phone is a must is if you actually want to frame shots properly or see where you’re flying in tight spots.
I think it really depends on how you hold them when you put them in. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the controls are still twitchy if my fingers brush the top half, but I’ve just gotten into the habit of only touching the stem. Once I stopped messing with the actual bud, it stopped being a problem for me.
I’ve been thinking about grabbing one for my own garage too, so I’m curious how this thread goes. The layout in mine is kind of broken up with shelves and stored stuff, so even if the soundwaves work in the cold, I’m not sure they’d reach the corners where the mice actually come in. I’d probably just pick one up and see, but I wouldn’t expect it to be a one-and-done fix. Seems like something you’d need to position carefully, maybe even move around a few times before it does anything. That’s my main hesitation. I’d rather know that before spending the money.
I’d probably stick with the mask just because I can actually do other stuff while it runs. The panel might hit more surface area, but if I have to sit still for 20 minutes, I’m way more likely to skip it. That alone probably makes the mask worth it for me, even if results take a little longer to show.
I’m on the older side too, mine’s a 2010, and the port’s been the same shape on every car I’ve owned since the early 2000s. SynGas just clicks into that standard slot, so I’d say the year is pretty irrelevant for this kind of device. It’s more about the car actually having the port than which version of it you’ve got.
I figure the cloth itself is probably fine for a long time, the bigger question is whether it gets loaded up with stuff from the paint it pulls off. I’d say give it a rinse under warm water every so often and that probably keeps it working longer than just dry rubbing it forever.
I haven’t tried them myself, but I’ve seen a bunch of people say they’re fine for long wear. If they’re really that lightweight, seems like it would be more about the fit than the weight.
I’ve been using mine on low mostly and it’s quiet enough that I forget it’s on, but medium does have a bit of a hum. Still way less annoying than my old blade fan, and I don’t mind it for sleeping.
