I think it’s more of a damp fan situation than actual cold air, but that’s kind of what I expected from something that small.
I think if the previous owner ran regular the whole time and it didn’t cause problems, you’re probably fine to just keep doing that. The car might not feel quite as peppy, but for a commute it’s not like you’re racing anyone. I wouldn’t lose sleep over it honestly.
I’d just hit it with a quick wipe of soapy water and a microfiber cloth, usually clears up that streaky look without having to redo anything.
Huh, I haven’t really paid that much attention to mine. Still seals fine when I toss it in my bag, so I guess I just never noticed.
I’ve got a pile of old GoPro mounts sitting in a drawer and they clicked right onto mine without any fuss. The adapter that comes in the box made it even easier to switch between them. I wouldn’t worry too much about buying new ones.
I’d probably just use it with a bucket instead, honestly. I don’t like dragging a hose around when I’m doing the patio, so the self-suction thing is nicer for me. But if you already have the hose out, it should be fine.
