Looking at the JetClean for washing the car and maybe the patio. The specs say it can hook up to a garden hose, but I’m wondering if that’s just a marketing thing or if it actually works without leaking everywhere. Anyone tried it with a regular hose setup?

I just use mine with a regular hose and it’s fine. No leaks or anything. Pretty straightforward.

Mine works fine with a regular hose. Didn’t need any adapters or tape, just screwed it on and it held. Not sure what would cause a leak unless the rubber washer is missing.

I’d probably just try it and see what happens honestly. If it leaks, you can always grab a rubber washer or some plumber’s tape for a couple bucks. But I’d guess it’s fine unless your hose connector is super old or beat up.

I can see why you’d be skeptical, marketing claims can be hit or miss. I’ve had good luck with mine on a regular hose though, the connection felt solid and didn’t give me any trouble. Might depend a bit on the specific washer you get, but it’s not just made up.

Honestly I just use it with a bucket most of the time. The hose connection worked fine the few times I tried it but I didn’t really see the point since you still have to drag the hose around.

Never had a problem with mine. Screwed it onto a regular hose and it didn’t leak or anything. Seems like it either works or it doesn’t depending on your luck with the threads.

I tried it with a garden hose and honestly wasn’t that impressed. Kind of felt like the connection was always a bit loose no matter what I did.

It works fine for most people. If yours is leaking, check if the hose end is in good shape or if the o ring is seated right.

I just hooked mine up to a regular hose and it was fine, no leaks or anything. I think if your hose end is in decent shape it should work without issues.

Works fine with a garden hose here. No leaks, just screwed it on and went. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Honestly I haven’t had any issues with mine and a regular hose. Screwed it on and it was fine, no drama. Might just depend on the specific hose end you have.

Works fine with a standard hose on mine. No leaks, just screwed it on and it held. People probably overcomplicate it.

Honestly I’d just try it and see. If your hose end isn’t beat up it should be fine.

I’d probably just use it with a bucket instead, honestly. I don’t like dragging a hose around when I’m doing the patio, so the self-suction thing is nicer for me. But if you already have the hose out, it should be fine.

Alright, thanks for the replies. Sounds like it’s not as fussy as I thought it might be. I’ll just give it a shot with my hose and see if it holds up.

I’ve hooked mine up a bunch of times and never had a leak.
