Emma__LMemberI’d probably just leave it plugged in, honestly. I think the USB port on most TVs only sends power when the TV is on anyway, so it’s not like it’s running 24/7. I wouldn’t worry about wearing it out.
Emma__LMemberI just let mine run until the water runs out. I don’t really think about it too much, it’s fine for my desk.
Emma__LMemberHonestly I never really tested video on mine cause I mostly just use it for music and maps. I can see how the lag would be annoying if you were trying to watch something though. Probably just the nature of sending it wirelessly.
Emma__LMemberI’ve used mine for jogging a few times and they stayed put for me. I think the ear tips help a lot, but maybe it depends on your ear shape.
Emma__LMemberI didn’t really notice any hesitation myself, but I also wasn’t paying super close attention at first. Probably just overthinking it if it’s barely noticeable.
Emma__LMemberI had the Clip 2 too and honestly never really noticed the clip being an issue for me. The 5 looks fine, I’d probably just use it the same way.
26 de June de 2026 at 11:42 in reply to: Vanotium vs wooden board for fish prep – anyone else notice the difference? #3902
Emma__LMemberI think people overthink the blade thing honestly. Wood has that softness that lets the knife sink in a little, but it’s not like it changes how the actual cut feels to me. The no smell part is the real win here, especially with fish. I just chop and move on, works fine.
Emma__LMemberI usually just leave mine plugged in when I’m playing on the TV. It’s less annoying than watching the battery drop and wondering if I’ll make it through another level.
22 de June de 2026 at 05:32 in reply to: AlarmTag battery life claim seems almost too good — anyone know how long it actually lasts? #3592
Emma__LMemberI just picked one up a few weeks ago, so I can’t really say much about long term battery life yet. It’s still working fine just sitting on my keys, and I haven’t had to think about it at all.
Emma__LMemberI’d be careful with it. Matte finishes are super sensitive and once you mess up the texture there’s no going back. I’ve seen people ruin matte paint trying to polish it.

Emma__LMemberI barely use the ice chamber either so I’ve never really tested it, but I’d guess the 10 hours is on low with no ice. Still works fine for me just as a fan.
19 de June de 2026 at 20:09 in reply to: Does the Qinux Pixgo 4K need a special SD card or will any work? #3434
Emma__LMemberAlright, thanks for the replies everyone. Sounds like I was overthinking it a bit. I’ll just grab a new class 10 card to be safe and not risk losing any holiday footage. Cheers for clearing that up.
17 de June de 2026 at 19:52 in reply to: SawShark worth it for a beginner or just another gadget? #3273
Emma__LMemberI picked one up mostly because I got tired of trying to hold a file at the right angle in bad lighting. It’s not some amazing tool but it does make it a lot harder to mess up the angle, so that’s something. I think it’s fine for a beginner, it’s not like it’s a huge investment anyway.
Emma__LMemberI’ve got a dark red car and tried it on some scuffs from a shopping cart. It didn’t erase them totally but they’re way less noticeable now, especially from a few feet away. I was a little skeptical at first but it did more than I expected.
