Hard surface makes a noticeable difference with these scales, that’s just how the sensors work. I keep mine on tile and it’s steady, but when I’ve used it on any kind of soft flooring the readings get jumpy enough that I don’t trust them.
I’d say pick one spot with a hard floor and stick with it if you want consistent numbers. The carpet readings probably aren’t worth comparing against your bathroom ones.
I feel like it’s one of those things where you just kind of know when it’s not doing anything anymore. If you’re still seeing results after a few weeks, I’d say keep going until you notice it’s not picking up scratches the way it used to. It doesn’t really stop all at once, more like it slowly gets less magical.
I’ve seen a few people just use the lowest setting on glass and it seemed fine, no cracks or anything. The wide spray nozzle that comes with it spreads the water out enough that it doesn’t feel aggressive on windows. Good enough for ground level stuff without overthinking it.
I mean, 15 minutes is probably fine if you’re just doing a quick sweep. I’d just go for it and see how it feels, sometimes it’s enough and sometimes you wish you had an extra few minutes.
I think it depends a bit on where you place the unit. I’ve got mine on a shelf in my office and the remote works from my bed across the room no problem, but if I move it behind my monitor or something it gets a little spotty. Not totally sure if that’s a range thing or just the angle.
Oh, I think I know what you’re talking about. I had something similar happen with mine on a laminate floor but it wasn’t super obvious unless the light hit it right. I just kind of ignored it since it’s not really damaging anything, just a bit of a shadow from the backing sitting there.
i get about 5 and a half days with mine, which is close enough for me. the 6 day claim probably depends on how much you check the app and sync, but i’ve never been disappointed by it.
I mean, you could try it for the novelty factor I guess. But if your throat already feels fine with the humidifier, it just seems like one more thing to mess with before bed for not much payoff.
I mean, I get the concern about the brackets getting in the way, but the flexible mouthguard part seems like it’d be less of an issue than people think. I’d probably be more worried about whether the light is actually doing anything useful through all that metal. If you’re mainly after the gum sensitivity help, it might still be worth a shot, but I wouldn’t expect miracles until the braces are off.
I’ve used it on single stage paint and it worked fine for the light oxidation I had, but honestly I didn’t think it did much more than a regular microfiber and some elbow grease. I’d probably just stick with a basic polish if you’re not trying to overthink it.
I mean, it’s a wireless adapter, not exactly built for watching movies, so a little audio lag doesn’t really surprise me. I just use mine for Spotify and Google Maps and haven’t had any issues that bug me. Not something I’d lose sleep over.
Boost mode is definitely the issue, I think most people figure that out pretty fast. I just use mine on Everyday and charge it whenever I remember, the battery lasts long enough that I don’t stress about it. The 4 week thing is probably a best case scenario, but it still works fine for keeping my fridge smelling fresh.
Eh, I think you’ll both be fine. The app might look a tiny bit different on each phone, but the actual translation part is basically the same. I wouldn’t overthink it.
I think a lot of it just depends on how you hold it, but I’ve noticed mine feels weird on bumpy mossy spots too. I usually just tilt it a tiny bit more and it’s less annoying. Not a huge deal for me honestly.
The silicone strips on the inside are actually what keep it in place more than the straps themselves. I found if I crank the straps too tight it just bunches up the fabric and makes it less comfortable. I keep them medium snug and let the grip do the work.
I’d say under the case is probably the way to go, mostly so it doesn’t get scratched or peel off over time. Mine hasn’t budged and I don’t really think about it anymore.
The filter reminder thing is actually kinda handy if you’re forgetful like me. I just hit reset when I swap it out and don’t think too hard about it. Realistically I probably go closer to six weeks and the water still tastes fine.

I think the 10 hours is probably on low speed with no ice. Tossing ice in might make it work harder to push air through, so yeah, it’d drain faster. Not really something to worry about though, it still lasts pretty long for what it is.

If it’s rated for bathrooms, the steam shouldn’t be a big deal unless you’re blasting it right next to the shower head. I think people overthink moisture with these little plug-in heaters, mine’s been fine near my desk with a humidifier running.
I feel like even if you’ve got furniture blocking some spots, the air still gets cleaned as it cycles through the lamp, so it’s not like you’re getting zero benefit. I think people get caught up on the surface coverage thing and forget the lamp is still running and doing something the whole time it’s on. Clutter might cut down the direct UV hits a bit, but it’s not like the lamp just stops working.
Honestly, I think people overthink the tank size on these things. I use mine mostly as just a fan with a little extra cool air, so I don’t even always fill it all the way. Definitely not gonna blast like your old bulky cooler, but for a desk it’s fine if you just want some airflow that feels a bit fresher. I’d just keep a water bottle nearby if you’re worried.
I figure if it doesn’t mess with my phone’s signal or make the case bulge, it’s basically harmless. Might as well leave it on and not overthink it.
Honestly I’d probably just take the blood sugar number as a fun extra rather than something to rely on. If it’s close enough for trends I wouldn’t sweat it too much.
