MemberMine gets a bit warm too but I barely notice it unless I pick it up right after. Probably just the charging doing its thing.
21 de June de 2026 at 13:19 in reply to: AlarmTag battery life claim seems almost too good — anyone know how long it actually lasts? #3554Tom911
MemberI don’t really buy the multi-year claims. I’ve had mine about 10 months and it’s still going, but I’m not holding my breath.
20 de June de 2026 at 10:10 in reply to: SonaBuds battery life when using translation mode a lot? #3468Tom911
MemberTranslation uses more processing, so yeah it drains faster than just music. Still got me through a solid hour-long conversation before I needed the case. Not as bad as I expected honestly.

MemberI think pairing works fine for basic stereo, but the outdoor part can be a toss up depending on how far you move them apart. Not totally convinced the sync holds perfectly in wide open spaces.
18 de June de 2026 at 20:31 in reply to: Does the Qinux Pixgo 4K need a special SD card or will any work? #3352Tom911
MemberJust grab a decent class 10 card and you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t bother digging up some old slow one from a drawer.
16 de June de 2026 at 22:57 in reply to: Qinux BreezaMax remote range – anyone else notice it’s short? #3218Tom911
MemberI haven’t had that problem. Mine works from across the room, so maybe yours is just a little off.

MemberIt cools down a bit with just tap water, but it’s more of a gentle breeze than actual cold air. I wouldn’t call it useless, but you won’t be wowed without ice.
13 de June de 2026 at 14:41 in reply to: Does the ODIN SafeWave EMF actually do anything noticeable? #2926Tom911
MemberI’d probably keep it on just for looks if nothing else. I don’t think it’s changing anything noticeable, but it’s not like it’s in the way either.
12 de June de 2026 at 18:32 in reply to: Does premium fuel actually make a difference for a daily driver? #2874Tom911
MemberKinda ironic that the previous owner skipped the premium but the car still made it this far. If it was gonna knock or ping, you’d probably know by now.
9 de June de 2026 at 06:57 in reply to: Does Tagsley need a specific Qi charger or will any pad work? #2593Tom911
MemberI just use a random Qi pad I had lying around, works fine. You don’t need anything fancy.
Tom911
MemberThe adapter that comes with it should let you use whatever you already have. I didn’t have to buy anything new.
6 de June de 2026 at 21:02 in reply to: JetClean hose connection — does it actually work with a standard garden hose? #2442Tom911
MemberWorks fine with a garden hose here. No leaks, just screwed it on and went. I wouldn’t overthink it.
6 de June de 2026 at 05:31 in reply to: Does the Glokore Filtered Showerhead actually help with dry hair? #2380Tom911
MemberIt probably won’t fix everything but mine made my hair less frizzy after a few washes. Good enough that I just leave it on and don’t think about it.

MemberMine’s been on my desk for weeks straight, fan part keeps going no problem. I just top off the water when I think about it. Good enough for me.
2 de June de 2026 at 07:06 in reply to: PolorVision vs older yellow night glasses — any real difference? #2048Tom911
MemberI think the contrast thing on PolorVision is real but it’s not some huge night and day difference. It’s more like a slight improvement over the yellow ones. Hard to get excited about it.
1 de June de 2026 at 16:25 in reply to: Does the Ozoori actually need to be charged that often? #2014Tom911
MemberI just charge mine when I think about it, maybe every three weeks or so. It’s never actually died on me, so I don’t really stress about it. Seems fine for what it does.
1 de June de 2026 at 11:27 in reply to: Does the Glokore Filtered Showerhead actually help with hard water? #1995Tom911
MemberI think it helps a little with hard water but it’s not a game changer or anything. The water feels nicer on my skin, but the spots on the glass are still there.
31 de May de 2026 at 20:15 in reply to: Anyone use the AlarmTag on a backpack while traveling? #1960Tom911
MemberI clipped mine to the outside of my bag for a bit, but honestly I just keep it in a side pocket now. Better safe than having it go off in a crowded train.
Tom911
MemberMine usually holds up fine for a day of wandering, but I’m not translating nonstop. The case helps, just toss them in when you sit down for a bit.
