KhanMemberI’d give it a bit more time honestly. Sometimes these things just take a little while to settle in with your mouth shape. Could also just be one of those things where you notice it more because you’re thinking about it.

KhanMemberI get the worry on crowded buses, it’s one of those things where even if it’s not super likely, it’s always in the back of your mind. For me, the hidden zippers are more about slowing someone down than stopping a determined thief, but that split second can be enough to notice. I think for the peace of mind alone it’s worth it, even if it’s just psychological.

KhanMemberI’ve got mine pretty close behind the couch too and honestly it works fine for me. I just angled them slightly so they point toward the seating area instead of straight at my ears. Makes the surround effect feel pretty immersive without being too much.
27 de May de 2026 at 08:29 in reply to: Ryoko Pro battery life question – is it really 8 hours? #1579
KhanMember8 hours is probably in ideal conditions with just one device connected and the screen off. I’ve been using mine for a few days on a trip and it gets me through a full work day if I’m not streaming video. Still feels solid for its size.
KhanMemberHonestly, if your office is already humid, this thing is mostly just gonna blow air around. It might feel a little cooler right in front of your face if you use ice water, but it won’t actually drop the room temp. For a stuffy desk it’s better than nothing, but don’t expect magic.

KhanMemberI noticed the same thing at first, but once I tried it on a thicker coat or moved the collar around a bit, the higher levels felt more noticeable. Might just be how the lower settings are designed to ease into it.
22 de May de 2026 at 06:02 in reply to: Qinux BitBip 89: adding games and saves — anyone figured this out? #1294
KhanMemberI wouldn’t overthink the saves too much. Some emulators just handle them differently and that’s kind of how it goes with these cheap sticks. As long as the games load up fine, I just play and don’t worry about it.
18 de May de 2026 at 07:04 in reply to: Should I pack a small FM radio for a weekend train trip or just use my phone? #1013
KhanMemberI get the charm of an FM radio, but for a 2-night train I’d skip it and just use my phone. Phone covers music, podcasts, and local stations via apps if you want, and it means one less thing to carry. If you really love the idea of tuning in without data bring the tiny one, but I probably wouldn’t bother.
KhanMemberFingerprint unlock usually won’t work through a pouch, but touch for texting and calls is generally fine for me.

KhanMemberIf it has no exhaust hose it mostly just circulates air and gives a cool breeze; I felt cooler sitting near it but the room temp barely dropped.
