Got the Qinux Dogitek a few days ago and been messing with it. The vibration on the lower levels feels kinda weak, is that normal? Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or it’s just meant to be gentle.

Yeah I noticed that too at first. The lower levels are pretty subtle but I think it’s intentional so you don’t spook a nervous dog right away. Once you bump it up a few notches it gets noticeably stronger.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing when I first got mine. Lower levels are pretty faint but I think it’s by design so you don’t overwhelm them. Takes a bit of getting used to but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.

Yeah I noticed that too at first but honestly for my dog the lower settings are fine for getting her attention without freaking her out. I barely ever need to go past level 3 or 4.

lower levels are pretty subtle but that’s kind of the point I think. Mine works fine for getting my dog’s attention without her even noticing it at first. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I dunno, mine feels fine on the lower settings. Kinda figured it was meant to be more of a tap than a buzz. Works for my dog.

I have one and the lower settings are definitely gentle, but that seems intentional for sensitive dogs. Mine works fine for a light tap to get attention without startling him. It does the job for us.

Lower levels are meant to be pretty subtle, so that sounds normal. I’ve found the higher settings do the job fine when you need them. Probably just designed to not spook the dog right away.

I’ve only used mine a handful of times so far, but the lower settings definitely feel pretty weak to me too. Not sure if that’s just how they’re supposed to be or if I got a dud.

I noticed the same thing at first, but once I tried it on a thicker coat or moved the collar around a bit, the higher levels felt more noticeable. Might just be how the lower settings are designed to ease into it.

Yeah, sounds about right. The lower settings are pretty gentle, not much punch there. I just bumped mine up a few levels and moved on. Works fine once you find the right spot.

Lower levels are pretty mild on most collars like this, I think that’s just how they are designed. If you need more, just turn it up a notch and see if it does what you want. Works fine for us after we dialed it in a bit.

Kinda figured the lower settings would be weak. I tested mine on my arm first and thought the same thing. Works fine once you go up a few levels though.

I noticed the same thing at first, but the higher levels definitely have more kick to them. Might just be how they designed it so the lower settings are gentler for sensitive dogs.

Not really sure what you expected honestly. The lower levels on these collars are usually mild by design. I’d just bump it up a few notches and see if that works for your dog.

I can see why you’d think that. The lower settings are pretty subtle, almost like a phone buzz. I think it’s just designed that way so you can start gentle. Works fine for me once I go up a few levels, though.

I think the lower levels are just meant for really sensitive dogs or just getting their attention. I pretty much never use mine below 4 or 5.

Lower levels are usually like that on these collars. Doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.
