Not sure what phone you’ve got, but some older ones don’t pull as much from USB-A on these multi-port chargers. I had a similar thing with an old Galaxy, it just topped out lower than the brick did. Maybe try a different cable if you have one lying around, sometimes that helps.

Honestly, that sounds about right for an IR device like this. Running the infrared on medium will pull more power than you’d expect, especially if you’re using it for longer sessions. I wouldn’t panic, just keep a power bank handy if you’re out for a while.

I noticed the same thing when I first got mine. It kind of feels like the ad blocker works better on some types of sites than others, maybe depends on how the ads are loaded or something. I didn’t mess with any settings, just kind of accepted it as a nice bonus when it works.

Yeah I noticed the same thing. The heat is pretty mild even on max, I think it’s just how they designed it. More of a gentle warmth than actual heat.

Yeah, I toss a tiny metal one-button keychain flashlight in my glovebox. Simple, durable, and it lasts ages on standby so you don’t drain your phone.

Mesh can actually help with dead spots, it’s not all hype. My habit is to glance at the Wi-Fi bars on my phone before a big call and plug in an Ethernet cable if they look shaky. Low effort and usually does the trick.
