Ugh, that sucks, I think 20 minutes is definitely low. Maybe they didn’t fully charge it or the battery’s just worn out, so I’d mention it to the shop and see if they’ll do something. Could be an honest mistake.
I ended up preferring a softer, flatter foam; it just felt more natural during long work sessions. Maybe contoured ones help others, I’m not totally sure.
Yup, 20 minutes is shady. Small practical thing: ask to see the battery/charge indicator or take a quick 5 minute test run before you commit, saved me hassle elsewhere.
Maybe check the rubber seal around the HEPA filter. I think if it isn’t seated properly it lets fine dust bypass and makes the filter clog faster.
Honestly I tried a contoured neck pillow and didn’t notice much improvement, could be placebo for others. The pricier ones felt firmer but my cheap foam seemed fine for day-to-day. I’d probably skip it unless you’re super sensitive to neck support.
I think totally silent collars are pretty uncommon, maybe you can find one that’s much quieter but I’m not sure any are truly noise-free.

Sounds tempting to grab a second Clip 5 for stereo, seems like it’d be nice at the beach. From skimming threads pairing seems pretty simple, though some folks mention a little sync/timing quirk outdoors. If you want more separation it’s probably worth trying, just don’t expect huge soundstage from tiny speakers.

I’ve got the Marella too and yeah, taste is better but those monthly filter swaps do add up. I have a little routine of topping it up every morning while I boil water for coffee so there’s always cold water ready, and I stash a spare cartridge in the cupboard. Bit annoying cost-wise, but I still think it’s worth it for daily use.
