20 de August de 2026 at 19:25 in reply to: Does the BareEarth Grounding Mat stay put on a hardwood floor? #7552
Mar__kusMemberI’ve had mine on hardwood for about six months now. It doesn’t slide during normal use, but if I drag my chair over it by accident it does bunch up a little. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of if you move your chair around a lot.
20 de August de 2026 at 15:41 in reply to: Herz P1 Smart Ring waterproof enough for swimming laps or is it just splash proof? #7539
Mar__kusMemberThe 50m rating is more about pressure than motion. In a pool, moving your arms through water creates more force than sitting still at depth, so the rating isn’t a guarantee. I’ve worn mine in the ocean a handful of times and it’s been fine, but I wouldn’t trust it for daily lap swimming. The seals on these rings are tiny, and if water gets in, the sensors are done. I’d keep it for splashes and showers, not regular pool sessions.
Mar__kusMemberThe foam level caught me off guard too, but it settled down way faster than I expected. As long as it isnt pouring out onto the floor, you are probably fine. The reaction does die off pretty quickly once the hot water cools.
Mar__kusMemberThe weight isn’t really the issue, it’s more about having one hand busy with the hose while you’re trying to keep your balance on the ladder. I’ve done it once and it was awkward enough that I wouldn’t call it a smooth operation. You can make it work if you’re careful, but it’s not something I’d want to do for a full side of the house.
14 de August de 2026 at 18:11 in reply to: Dustaclean on car cup holders, or is that pushing it? #7167
Mar__kusMemberI gave it a shot in mine and it actually worked okay, but my cup holders are pretty wide and shallow. The narrow nozzle fits, but if you’ve got one of those deep wells with a rubber insert at the bottom, you’re probably going to be fishing stuff out by hand anyway.
5 de August de 2026 at 14:20 in reply to: Qinux BlackOptic SD card slot feels loose or is it just mine? #6550
Mar__kusMemberGood to know it’s not just mine. I’ll stop thinking about it and just get on with using it.
31 de July de 2026 at 22:52 in reply to: Does the Herz P1 Smart Scale actually track trends well or is it just a gimmick? #6234
Mar__kusMemberThe trend graphs are actually fine in the app, they don’t make you dig for them or anything. I just weigh in at the same time every morning and ignore the daily number, but the weekly line is pretty clear. It won’t tell you anything you couldn’t figure out with a normal scale and a notepad, but it does the boring part for you.
Mar__kusMemberAlright, thanks for the replies. Sounds like the filter costs are pretty reasonable, so I’ll probably just grab one and see how it goes.
28 de July de 2026 at 09:28 in reply to: Does the Qinux HydroXeltor work with low water pressure? #5973
Mar__kusMemberProbably works well enough on most normal hoses, but if your pressure is really weak you might be disappointed. I wouldn’t expect it to magically fix a bad setup.
27 de July de 2026 at 12:52 in reply to: Hewelth ReliefChain battery life normal or am I using it too much? #5924
Mar__kusMemberHonestly that sounds about right to me. I run mine on medium heat for about 15 minutes most nights and I’m charging every 4 or 5 days. If you’re doing the full 20 with heat every time, every 3 days doesn’t seem off. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it starts dying mid-session.
26 de July de 2026 at 13:40 in reply to: Does the AlarmTag pin feel stiffer than older personal alarms? #5858
Mar__kusMemberI noticed the same thing with mine. It feels like it needs a deliberate pull compared to older alarms I’ve had, but honestly that kind of makes me feel better about carrying it in my bag. I haven’t had it long enough to know if it loosens up, but it’s not bothering me so far.
20 de July de 2026 at 10:38 in reply to: SawShark normal to need a bit of pressure or am I doing it wrong? #5562
Mar__kusMemberI think you’re overthinking it. Mine worked fine right out of the box without any extra pressure, so maybe your file is seated wrong or you’re hitting the angle off.
18 de July de 2026 at 09:56 in reply to: Glokore Therapy Mask worth it for acne or more for anti-aging? #5427
Mar__kusMemberI’ve used mine off and on for a few months. The blue light seems to take the edge off redness when I have a breakout, but I wouldn’t say it clears things up completely. I haven’t really noticed much for aging, but I wasn’t paying attention to that either. It’s fine for what it is, I guess.
Mar__kusMemberI’ve tried a few different earbuds for running and honestly it’s more about the shape of your ear than the tips. The included sizes help a bit, but they’re not magic.
Mar__kusMemberI haven’t messed with the Clip 2 clip in a while, but the one on the 5 is definitely wide enough to hook onto a belt loop without forcing it. The plastic still feels a bit flimsy if you plan on swinging it around a lot though. I’d say it’s a decent upgrade for just clipping it on and leaving it there.
26 de June de 2026 at 20:39 in reply to: Vanotium vs wooden board for fish prep – anyone else notice the difference? #3935
Mar__kusMemberI’ve noticed it too. The harder surface definitely changes the feedback through the knife, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing once you adjust. For fish and raw stuff the easy cleanup makes up for it in my book.
24 de June de 2026 at 18:54 in reply to: Does the Qinux Klampero actually keep the angle consistent? #3796
Mar__kusMemberNot sure I totally agree. I tried one and the angle guide felt a bit flimsy once I actually put pressure on it. Worked okay for a couple teeth but I wouldn’t trust it to stay dead on for a whole chain.
22 de June de 2026 at 14:11 in reply to: AlarmTag battery life claim seems almost too good — anyone know how long it actually lasts? #3637
Mar__kusMemberI’ve had mine for over two years now and it’s still working. I barely think about it. Battery will probably outlast my interest in keeping it on my keys.
21 de June de 2026 at 19:59 in reply to: SonaBuds battery life when using translation mode a lot? #3578
Mar__kusMemberI think it drains a bit faster but not in a way that actually ruined anything for me. I used it for like 30 minutes straight once and it was still fine when I put them back in the case later.
20 de June de 2026 at 09:36 in reply to: Wood Ranger Power Leaf Blower okay for blowing out a workshop? #3466
Mar__kusMemberIt’ll move sawdust fine, but you’re not going to blow a workshop clean with a 15-minute runtime. You’d be better off with a broom for the heavy stuff and just use the blower for the corners.
19 de June de 2026 at 08:18 in reply to: Does the Qinux Pixgo 4K need a special SD card or will any work? #3373
Mar__kusMemberI mean, it’s probably fine with anything modern. I wouldn’t dig out some ancient card from a drawer, but most stuff sold now should handle it.
Mar__kusMemberHigh does the job, just takes a bit of elbow grease even with the motor running. Not a miracle worker but it handles it.
18 de June de 2026 at 14:22 in reply to: Does the Clima Pest Guard actually work in a slightly breezy patio? #3330
Mar__kusMemberIt depends how strong the breeze is. I’ve used mine on a covered deck with a fan running and it still caught plenty of small flies, but once the wind picks up it’s mostly useless. I’d rather just move it closer to where I’m sitting than expect it to pull bugs from across the whole patio.
Mar__kusMemberI’ve used mine for a few quick calls and honestly the delay wasn’t a big deal. If you’re just doing short back and forth it works well enough. People get way too caught up on the pause but in practice it doesn’t ruin the flow for me.
Mar__kusMemberI’d say it’s fine for a desk fan with a bit of dampness, just don’t expect it to actually cool the room. The ice helps for maybe ten minutes then it’s just tap water anyway.
13 de June de 2026 at 21:33 in reply to: Black Falcon Drone vs my old toy drone, is the camera actually better? #2968
Mar__kusMember4K is better than blurry toy drone footage for sure, but don’t expect it to look like a cinema camera. It’s fine for travel shots as long as you’re not pixel-peeping too hard.
