I was looking at the Qinux HydroXeltor for cleaning my patio and car, but my outdoor faucet doesn’t have super strong pressure. Anyone know if it still works decently with a regular garden hose on lower pressure, or does it really need a strong flow to do anything?

I’ve got pretty average water pressure at my place and it still works fine for washing my car and hosing down the patio. You’re not going to get that insane jet blast like a gas washer, but it definitely does the job for regular dirt and mud. I wouldn’t worry too much about needing super strong flow.

Low pressure is usually fine. I’ve used it on a hose that barely pushes water and it still sprays hard enough to knock mud off patio tiles. Not a miracle worker, but it does the job.

It works fine with lower pressure. I’ve got a pretty weak outdoor spigot and it still handles basic cleaning without issues. No need to overthink it.

Probably works well enough on most normal hoses, but if your pressure is really weak you might be disappointed. I wouldn’t expect it to magically fix a bad setup.

Honestly it kind of depends on how weak your pressure is. I’ve used mine on a hose that was just barely running and it still managed to spray decently, just not like a jet or anything. You might have to get closer to what you’re cleaning if the flow is really low.

I dunno, I tried mine and it was pretty disappointing with low pressure. Barely did more than a regular hose nozzle.

Mine works fine with regular pressure. Not gonna replace a power washer, but for a hose nozzle it does the job.

I got one and my water pressure isn’t anything special either. It still cleans my car fine, just takes a little longer on the really grimy spots.

I think it really depends what you call low pressure. My hose is nothing special and it works fine for stuff like the car and patio furniture. Not gonna blast off caked on mud or anything but it does the job.

I’ve got pretty standard pressure and mine works fine for washing the car. Takes a bit longer on dried on bugs, but it still gets them off.

I’d probably just try it and see. If my hose pressure is decent enough to spray water a few feet, I figure it’ll still give a better stream than a standard nozzle. Worst case you just use it on a lower setting.

Thanks for all the input, everyone. Sounds like it’s not a complete dud with low pressure, which is good enough for me. I’ll probably just grab one and see how it goes.
