Metal shelves are the one spot I actually trust the magnet on. Painted drywall in hotels is a gamble every single time. I’ve had mine slide down slowly overnight more than once.
There’s no dedicated mute button on the BittOne, and I don’t get why anyone expects one on a budget handheld. I’ve had mine a few months and just hold the volume down button, works fine every time.
I tried mine in a couple spots and the window made the biggest difference for me. On a shelf it grabbed some channels but the picture kept breaking up on the weaker ones. If you’re not near a window, you might still get the strong local stations. Just don’t count on the full channel list.
Mine slid into an old cotton case fine, so the shape wasn’t the issue. What bugged me was the case sliding around on the foam overnight.
They don’t include one. I checked the box twice when mine came and it was just the glasses wrapped in thin plastic. For the price I expected a little more, but honestly most driving glasses in this range skip the case. I just keep mine in the door pocket, they seem tough enough to handle it.
Coverage claims just mean it finds whatever tower is there. Mine did fine near a lake with barely any bars.
Mine do the same thing when I’m calling from anywhere with even a little traffic. I tried moving the mic closer to my mouth but that just made it worse. I think it’s the way the mic is tuned for translation, not calls. I wouldn’t count on an app update changing the hardware behavior.
I’ve had mine for about four months now and use it maybe once every couple weeks on my truck. No visible dulling or haze so far, paint still looks the same as before I started using it. I think the key is that it’s really only meant for light stuff, so if you’re not bearing down on it like a polisher, you’re probably fine. But I also don’t see it being a miracle product either, it just does what it says without nuking the clear coat, at least in my experience.

If your carpet is really thick and fluffy, I’d probably just keep an eye on it for the first day or two. Mine was fine on medium pile, but I can see how something super high pile could block things up over time. As long as the air keeps moving, you’re probably good.

The app never stumbles on which language Im using when I start a conversation, so accuracy stays the same. Whatever lag you think exists is probably just the Bluetooth handshake, not the app juggling pairs.
I think it comes down to how much you move while using it. The curved shape does most of the work on its own, so if you’re just lying still letting it do its thing, carpet really shouldn’t be an issue. The weight of your body keeps it pinned down well enough.

Most of these action cameras don’t ship with a card, and the Pro Capture is no different. I wouldn’t count on finding one in the box, even a small starter one. The included accessories list is pretty much just the mounts and the waterproof case, so storage is on you.
I grabbed a 128GB card for mine before a trip and honestly it was the right call. 4K eats up space faster than you’d think, especially if you just leave it recording while you’re moving around. Warmth after running Boost all night sounds about right. That mode pushes the ceramic core harder and it’s going to produce some heat as a side effect. Mine does the same thing if I leave it on Boost longer than a few hours, and it’s been running fine for months now.
Worth keeping an eye on if it ever gets actually hot to the touch, but a noticeable warmth is just the unit working. The fridge being closed all night traps that heat in there too, so it doesn’t dissipate as fast. I’d say check the battery level more than the temperature. If it’s still holding a charge normally and killing odors like it should, I wouldn’t overthink the warmth.
Older machines can be a bit of a gamble, but the mounting plate is pretty much a universal size. Mine is a no-name brand from years ago and the VultrioX bolted right on without any fiddling. Just check that your drive shaft has the same thread pattern, that’s usually where people run into trouble.

If you want the full effect, yeah, ice makes a noticeable difference. Water alone just kinda feels like a damp fan blowing on you. It’s not bad, but it’s not exactly refreshing either.
