I haven’t tested mine long enough to be sure, but it still beads water after a few washes. The shine part is what I care about more anyway.
The LED light is actually what sold me on it. Being able to see back there clearly makes a bigger difference than I expected.
I think it depends on your water pressure more than the nozzle itself. Mine did okay on light dirt but didn’t touch the stubborn stains. Probably still need a pressure washer if yours is really bad.
Not really an issue for me. I just shove it in the closet with the rest and it squishes down enough.
I’m still on the fence about getting one, but the fit seems like the main thing to get right. Too loose and it probably just slides around all day.
It’s really not that deep. If the air is already humid you’re just making it more humid, that’s how these things work. Works fine for me on normal days though.
I think it works well enough for me. It lights up red when I press too hard and I’ve definitely noticed I back off a bit. Not a game changer but it does what it says.
Alright, I think I’ve got enough to go on. Sounds like the defaults are fine for most people. I’ll probably just pick one up and not bother with the software.
I’d probably just swap it when the water starts tasting a little flat or the flow slows down, not exactly on a strict schedule. The 4-week thing seems like a worst-case number. Kinda leaning toward getting one and just seeing how long it actually lasts for my usage.
I’d be more curious if the safety features actually kick in before any damage happens. Overheat shutoff sounds good on paper but who knows if it reacts fast enough in a steamy room.
I keep seeing people say years, but I wonder if that’s assuming you never accidentally set it off in your bag. One accidental pull and you’re burning through battery faster than you’d think.
I’ve seen a few people say it’s fine, but I’m still on the fence about leaving mine on overnight. My car’s battery isn’t brand new so I’m a bit cautious. Probably just depends how often you drive it.
I’d probably just stick with the high setting from the start if you’re dealing with old buildup. Low seems like more of a light touch-up mode to me.

I’m not totally sure the 15 minute runtime is enough for a full car dry. Maybe if you’re just doing spot work.
I’d guess any Qi charger works fine with it. The cheap ones usually do the job for these kinds of devices.
I mean, it’s only a few minutes every six hours, so the drain seems pretty minimal to me. I wouldn’t overthink it.
Might depend on what you’re expecting from it. If you just want some airflow and a bit of humidity, middle of the room is probably fine.
I’d guess it’s probably fine. Mine rings loud enough that I can hear it from the next room if it’s in a coat pocket, so a bag shouldn’t be much different. I wouldn’t overthink it.
I think a 2010 should be fine honestly. I know someone with a 2009 that tried it and the OBD2 port had no issues at all. Not totally sure it made a huge difference for them though.
