I think the filter part is the only extra thing, and you just swap that out every few months. The outside wipes down fine, no different from any other showerhead I’ve used. Not really a hassle.
Haven’t really tested it side by side, but I’d guess oscillation uses a little extra. Honestly though, I just run mine on low speed with oscillation and it lasts most of the afternoon. Never really timed it exactly.
I’ve got a drafty room too and the CoolCove helps a bit, but I wouldn’t say it’s a game changer. It’s more like it takes the edge off if you’re nearby.
I think it’s just the nature of fan mode on these things. It’s not gonna blast you like a box fan, but it keeps the air moving enough to not feel stale. Works fine for me in a bedroom.
Could be the MacBook just isn’t pulling as much as you think it will with other stuff running. Mine charges fine, just not at full speed all the time.
Mine has that too. I figured it was just the way they put them together to keep the price down. Doesn’t seem to affect anything when I’m actually using it.
I’m still on the fence about leaving mine on overnight too. The backup battery is small so I figure it’s not pulling much, but I’d probably just unplug it if I wasn’t driving for a few days.
I just grabbed a class 10 card from a local shop and haven’t had any issues with 4K recording. Wouldn’t overthink it too much.
I’d just leave it in the bedroom. Moving a heater around every shower gets old fast and I’d probably forget it in the bathroom eventually anyway.
I’d say it depends on what you expect. For me, the TV mode didn’t really make much difference—still had to turn the volume up anyway.
It probably helps a bit with airflow but it isnt going to make you feel cold or anything. The memory foam still holds some heat, just less than a solid block of it.
From what I’ve seen, the LED is more about making the unit visible at night than actually scaring animals. I wouldn’t count on it doing much beyond that.
I wouldn’t worry about forgetting to set it. The timer is more about not having to run back to the room to turn it off.
I think the foam does compress more than you’d expect once your head is on it, so the height isn’t as dramatic as it looks sitting there. Might take a night or two to feel normal if you’re used to a flat pillow though.
I’d guess it probably uses less water just because you’re not flooding the whole area. The stream is more focused so you don’t have to spray as long to get stuff clean.
I think it’s just the pump noise when the water’s low, mine does the same thing but it’s not loud enough to bother me. I just fill it up when I notice and it’s fine.
Hard to say. I’ve got one in my kitchen and my cat sleeps right next to it so she doesn’t seem bothered. Could just be your cat having an off day.
I think it works fine for me. I’ve had mine a few weeks and haven’t noticed many ads slipping through. Maybe it depends on the site or how it’s set up.
I’ve got one sitting on my desk right now. In a humid office it’s not gonna cool the room down, but if you point it at yourself and use cold water, it feels noticeably better than just a fan.
I travel with mine a decent amount and honestly it’s not that bad. It looks bigger than it actually is when you pack it. Fits in my carry on without much trouble.
I’ve had mine for about 6 months and it’s still on the original batteries with a few alerts a day. Seems fine to me, not really something I worry about.
