Delay is not the problem. I use mine on weekly calls with a team in Colombia and it keeps up fine, even when two people talk over each other. The bigger thing for me is whether you can stay relaxed on the call, and that gets easier after a couple of tries.
The one thing I’d check is that you use the same login method after switching platforms, like if you signed up with Google on Android and then use Apple on the iPhone it can get messy. My partner hit that with a different app and had to dig around to get her old data linked again. So just make a note of how you first set up the account.

The part I’m still unsure about is whether that convenience is worth it long term for someone who already has a working hose. I think people expect too much from a shower head when it comes to limescale. It can soften the feel of the water, sure, but it is not going to stop hard water spots from forming on your tiles or glass. I would look at it as a comfort upgrade, not a solution for buildup.
