Glad to hear people have actually used theirs in practice, that’s pretty reassuring. I’ll just leave mine in the kitchen drawer and hope I never need to find out for real. Thanks for the input.
I usually just mess around with the settings as I go. The wide one feels safer for the big flat areas, but I’ll switch to the concentrated stream for any stubborn spots without overthinking it. Not totally sure it matters that much in the end.
I’ve got old pipes too and I’ve noticed a little bit of buildup on the filter when I’ve checked it, so it’s definitely grabbing something. The water feels softer on my skin, which is the main reason I’ll probably stick with it. I wouldn’t expect it to fix everything, but for what it is, it seems to do the job.
I’ve got mine in a spot that gets decent morning sun but fades into shade by early afternoon, and it’s been holding up fine so far. I was worried at first but it hasn’t died on me yet.
