I used a knife with a hole years ago and gave up on it after a week. It never stopped feeling like my finger was in the wrong spot. Some people clearly love it, but I would not force it if your old knife still does the job.
I grabbed a couple of my old favorites off a USB stick and they showed up after a reboot. Not instant, but nothing broke. I’d say go for it if you have the files handy.
I switched from a hose nozzle to a JetClean a few months back and the difference is real. The spray actually has some bite to it, so mud and road grime come off without me scrubbing half as long. It’s not a full pressure washer, but for quick washes it does the job fine.
I bought this scale mainly for the body composition stuff, so the heart rate was kind of an extra to me. I compared it with my watch a few times out of curiosity and it wasn’t ever spot on. I figure as long as it’s in the same ballpark, it’s doing its job for a quick check. Not something I’d lose sleep over.
The beech wood handle is the only thing I’d question long term. Mine has seen a lot of sink splash and it’s fine, but I also don’t throw it in the dishwasher. The blade itself is just like any other stainless knife. I’d say buy it if you like the feel. The handle is the one thing I’d say to pay a little attention to.
I’d want the same thing for nighttime walks, so I get why you’re asking. Mine flashes continuously until the pin goes back in. I’ve left it sitting on my kitchen counter without the pin more than once and it’s still going when I remember to check.
I got one mostly for when my nephew comes over. He’s at that age where he’s curious about the old games I used to talk about, and I figured this was cheaper than digging out my old consoles and hoping they still work. The 4K thing never meant much to me, I just wanted something simple.
First time we plugged it in, I didn’t touch any settings. Just hooked it up and started playing. On my older 43 inch TV it looked fine. Not sharp like a modern game, but not a muddy mess either. My nephew didn’t care about the resolution at all, he was just trying to figure out why the jump button was on the right side instead of the bottom.
The part that got me was the controllers. They feel a bit light and cheap in the hand, and after about an hour of playing some beat ’em up, my hands started to notice. Nothing terrible, but I did have to take a break. For a casual session it’s fine, but if you plan on a long night of gaming, you might feel it.
I think the whole 4K thing is just them putting a number on the box to make it seem modern. The real selling point is that it works without fuss. You don’t need to mess with settings or figure out which cable goes where. For what it costs, it does what it says. Just don’t expect it to replace a real retro setup if you care about that stuff.
The window thing gets treated like a hard rule, but it really depends on your building and where the towers are. I had mine in a spot with zero natural light nearby, basically buried behind a couch, and it still pulled in the local networks fine. The main thing I’d say is just make sure you run a channel scan and mess with the placement a bit. If it doesn’t work, you can always return it, but I wouldn’t skip trying it just because of the window situation.
I had the same impression for a while, but turning up the volume a notch or two for calls sorted it out for me.
I’m still on an older unit and I’ve been going back and forth on this. The auto network thing sounds great in theory, but I keep wondering how much of that is just software smoothing over the same spotty coverage. My current one works, but I have to mess with it every time I cross a border.
What I really want to know is if the connection stays stable once it picks a network. The old ones will lock onto something and then drop it an hour later for no reason. If the Ryoko Pro actually holds a signal better instead of just finding one faster, that’s worth the upgrade to me. The app being nicer is whatever, but a steady connection is the part I’d actually pay for.
I swapped mine in last January and never looked back. The rack works if you have a week to wait, but this thing cuts it down to overnight for most of my stuff. It’s not magic on thick towels, but for everyday loads it’s a clear win.
I’m a bit torn on this one. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the mic picks up my voice fine on normal calls, but the other person’s voice can sound a little flat compared to what I got from my old pair. Not bad enough to switch back, but it’s noticeable if you’re on the phone a lot.
I’m not sure there’s a standard answer on this one, but mine came with one extra tip and that’s been enough so far. I’d say hold off on ordering spares unless you know you’ll be switching heads a lot right away.
I get the logic, but I kind of look at it differently. The holder is only protecting the passport, not the rest of your cards. If you ever slide your passport out in a crowded airport line or leave it loose in a bag for a second, that’s when the card would be doing something.
Cell signal is not part of the equation at all. The adapter only cares about the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi link with your phone. If your USB port in the car is solid and your phone isn’t too old to handle the handoff, you’ll be fine in that garage.
I’d say keep it away from the back wall where stuff tends to pile up. I had mine on a lower shelf near the veggie drawer and it seemed to keep things smelling fine for a good month before I had to charge it again.
I think it still helps a little, but you can definitely tell the difference when it’s sticky out. On those days I mostly run it for the air movement and maybe the first few minutes feel a bit cooler. Probably not worth messing with the ice unless you’re sitting right on top of it.

I’ve tried it both ways and honestly the ice makes maybe a 5 minute difference tops. Not worth the extra effort in my book.
