I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’ve got old pipes and I’m thinking about picking one up but not totally sure how much sediment it’d actually catch before the filter clogs. Still, if the pressure stays fine that’s probably a good sign it’s not getting overwhelmed.
I think it’s probably fine to stack them but I wouldn’t expect much extra out of it. The Guardality card should handle the blocking on its own, so the passport cover is just a backup at that point. Not totally sure it’s pointless, but it seems like overkill to me.
I’d guess it’s just a fabric thing. Steam on hard surfaces feels instant, but fabric soaks it up slower.
I’d probably just try whatever fits your space better without overthinking it. If the shelf is already at a decent height and not blocked, I doubt you’d notice a huge difference for most rooms.
That’s good to hear. I was mostly worried it would die halfway through, but sounds like it holds up fine.
I get the concern about a bright screen in a bedroom. From what I’ve seen, the display is always on but it’s pretty dim, more like a faint digital clock than a glaring light. Shouldn’t be an issue unless you’re really sensitive to any light.
It should be fine for that. I use mine to check on my living room from bed and can make out the couch and table clearly enough. The edges get a little soft but the center is sharp. Probably good enough for what you need.
Thanks for the replies. Sounds like it varies a bit but nothing too crazy. I’ll just keep an eye on it and probably not worry unless it gets noticeably worse.
I usually just switch to the phone speaker if the earbuds struggle in loud spots. Not ideal but works.
Thanks for all the input. I think I’ll just run regular for a bit and see how it feels. If it’s fine, I’ll probably stick with it.
Stuck mine on a couple weeks ago. Phone still works fine, no signal issues or anything like that. Cant really say I feel any different though.
Got it, thanks for all the replies. Sounds like the cooling is more of a nice bonus than a game changer. Might still grab one for the neck support and just see how it goes.
Probably depends more on the TV’s scaling than the stick itself. Might look a bit softer if your TV doesn’t handle 720p well.
I think it’s probably fine for most people. The straps seem like they’d do the job if you adjust them right.
I haven’t tested it against a proper meter myself, but I’d want to see some actual comparison tests before trusting the numbers. It could be useful for spotting trends if it’s even close to accurate.
I think it’s probably a mix of both, but I’m not totally sure how much the walls really matter vs just being farther away. I’d guess line of sight makes the biggest difference.
Probably not a big deal. I’ve gone through phases like that and they usually fade on their own after a while. If you’re not exhausted during the day, I wouldn’t stress over it.
I usually just run mine in the home office during the day instead of the AC. Hard to say about the bill, but it’s quieter, which I like.
Maybe the quieter ones just don’t trip the sensor the same way. Mine works fine for the loud stuff too, which is all I really needed it for.
I’d just charge it when the light turns red and not think too hard about it. The self-cleaning mode is only a few minutes every six hours, so it’s probably fine.
I’d say it depends how casual you mean. I fiddled with a word game on mine for a bit and it was fine, nothing to write home about. If you already want the stick for streaming, it’s a neat extra to have around.
My water’s pretty hard and my hair was basically straw before I switched. It definitely feels softer now, not perfect but noticeable enough I’d keep using it.
