The drops on the glass are a separate problem, honestly. The lenses are doing their job with the reflection off the road and the headlights coming at you. That’s where the real eye strain comes from in the rain anyway.
I have worn mine through some proper heavy stuff and the windshield itself still looks like a mess until the wipers clear it. That is just physics and rain, no pair of glasses is going to fix water sitting on the glass in front of you.
What I noticed is I am not squinting or tensing up as much when the traffic sprays water up, which is where they earn their keep. If you are expecting them to make the windshield disappear, you are going to be disappointed. They are for the glare bouncing off everything else.
Seems pretty obvious it would still work for looking through it. SD cards are for saving pictures and video, not for the basic function of the device. They probably should have made that clearer in the manual if people are this confused.
Mine sits on a nightstand with the cord stretched tight. Heater works fine but that cord is shorter than I expected.
It holds up if you’re basically parked in one spot. That’s the honest answer. The strap does its job, but it’s not magic. You’re not going to be pacing around the kitchen making coffee while it stays locked in place.
What got me is that it’s more about how you’re sitting than anything else. Slouching forward or twisting to grab something is when it starts to creep. If you’re just leaning back on the couch or sitting upright at a desk, fine. But if you’re the type who fidgets or shifts around a lot, you’ll be nudging it back into place every few minutes.
It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but the “hands-free” part only really works if you’re actually staying still. I wouldn’t buy it expecting to wear it while doing chores.
Mine counts steps when I’m just sitting on the couch scrolling. My old band never did that. So yeah, it’s not just you. These things are all over the place anyway.
Mine handles the bucket setup fine. The spray stays consistent as long as you don’t let the water get too low, but I just top it off and keep going. It’s not a big deal for me, honestly.

You’re overthinking this. The adapter doesn’t give a damn about your cell signal. It’s just talking to your phone over Bluetooth and its own Wi-Fi network. Your phone could be in airplane mode and the CarPlay connection would still work fine.
The only thing that matters is whether your car’s USB port stays powered and the adapter doesn’t decide to take a nap. I’ve had mine sitting in a parking garage for months and it never drops. What actually ends up annoying me is when the car takes forever to boot up the infotainment system and the adapter is just sitting there waiting. That’s a car problem though, not a signal problem.
If your phone can’t get data in the garage, that’s a separate thing. Maps and streaming won’t work until you get signal. But the connection itself? Fine. Don’t blame the adapter for something it has nothing to do with.
Mine throws plenty of debris too, especially when the grass is damp or the ground is loose. I just accept it as the price for how fast it chews through stuff. I wouldn’t overthink it. If it’s cutting well, that’s what the thing is supposed to do.

Guess it’s not just my unit then. Annoying but not exactly a dealbreaker for me either, I just point it straight at the thing. Good to know I’m not the only one dealing with it.
I got thick, wiry nose hairs too and was half expecting the thing to yank them out. Used it a bunch of times now and it just cuts them clean. No pulling, no weird tugging sensation. The rotary blade spins fast enough that it just shears them off before they get caught.
I think the trick is not to jam it up your nostril like some kind of industrial vacuum. You gotta keep it moving in small circles. If you just shove it in there and hold it still, yeah, it might grab. But used normally, it’s fine.
These cheaper trimmers usually rip my hair out and leave me sneezing for an hour. This one hasn’t done that. For what it is, it does the job. Can’t complain about it so far.
