d4nielParticipantMine swivels to fit the outlet but feels a bit loose. Does the Keilini Heater Pro plug stay put once it’s in? Just wondering if that’s normal or if I should be worried about it slipping out over time.

MemberMine loosened up after a couple months of moving it between rooms. It still works, but I wouldn’t count on that swivel staying snug forever.

MemberMine’s stayed snug on the kitchen outlet for weeks.

MemberMine has a little wiggle to it right out of the box and I’ve just left it in one spot since. Been a few weeks and it hasn’t worked its way out of the outlet yet, so the looseness seems more about the swivel part than the actual prongs.

MemberThe swivel on mine has some play in it too, but it hasn’t slipped out of the socket. It’s the rotation that’s loose, not the prongs. That’s just how these things are built.

MarkD87MemberThe swivel stays plenty tight on mine, so that loose feeling might not be as universal as this thread makes it sound. I’ve had mine plugged in for a month or so and it hasn’t moved or slipped once. Maybe you just got one with a bit more play in the joint.

MemberMine hasn’t slipped out, but it definitely doesn’t feel locked in either.

JSmithParticipantI’d be more concerned about the outlet itself than the swivel. Older outlets get loose and a small heater can wiggle its way out of those over time. If the outlet grips the prongs firmly, the rotating part having some play probably won’t matter.

MemberMine loosened up after a couple months.

RiversMemberMine’s been plugged in for about two months and the swivel hasn’t let go. It rotates a little too freely for my taste, but the prongs stay seated in the outlet. No slipping so far.

Rachel ColeMemberMine still seats fine in the outlet.

MemberThe swivel on mine has stayed exactly where I set it. I keep it angled sideways so it clears the shelf above the outlet, and it hasn’t drooped or rotated on its own at all. What I did notice is that it felt a little loose right out of the box too, but that turned out to be the swivel joint itself, not the prongs. The part going into the outlet is solid. It’s been in the same spot for around three months now and I’ve unplugged it maybe twice to move it to another room. Both times it went back in with the same snug fit. So a bit of play when you rotate it doesn’t automatically mean the whole thing is going to work its way out. If the prongs themselves feel loose in the outlet, that’s a different story.

MemberMine stays put, but the swivel has a bit of play in it right out of the box. I’ve had it hanging sideways off a wall outlet for a few weeks and it hasn’t moved from where I set it. That little wobble seems to just be how these rotating plugs feel.

d4nielParticipantGood to know it’s not just mine that has a little play in it. I’ll just keep an eye on the outlet and leave it be.
