The upper back thing is probably just how it sits. Mine ends up lower than I expect half the time and I’ve stopped fighting it. The wrap isn’t rigid so where it lands depends on your shoulder shape and what you’re wearing. If it’s drifting down to your upper back, that’s just gravity doing its thing, not a fitting error.
What I’d say is the trapezius area is the realistic limit. It’s not going to do much for your mid back no matter how you position it, and trying to force it higher just makes the neck part sit weird. I gave up adjusting mine constantly and just let it settle where it wants.
So yeah, upper back near the shoulders is fair game, but don’t expect it to reach further down. That’s not what it’s built for.
Switched from a twist handle and the difference wasn’t huge for me either. Less cranking, but you still have to hold everything steady so it’s not like it does all the work. Fine for opening a bottle after dinner, but it’s not some magic fix.
I ended up just keeping it at 10 minutes most days. It’s not a magic number, but I don’t feel like 5 does much for me either. Good enough, I’m out.
The instructions are vague for a reason, they can’t tell you when your jaw stops aching. I gave mine two weeks before touching anything, mainly because the morning soreness was the real issue, not the snoring. Adjusting a fit you haven’t settled into just makes it worse.
If you’re in an area with real temperature swings, the glovebox is the worst spot for it. I’ve seen cheaper plastic stuff warp and get brittle from sitting in a hot car, and that’s not something you want failing when you actually need it. Kitchen drawer sounds like the smarter call to me.
Chlorine smell is one of those things that depends on how fresh it is in your water. If your municipality hits it hard right before it gets to you, no shower filter is going to fully kill that. I swapped mine out for this and the smell was still there, just not as sharp. I think expecting it to vanish is setting yourself up for disappointment.
I run mine without the mist most of the day and only switch it on when I’m actually feeling too warm. That cuts the refills way down. When I do use the mist, I just accept that I’m filling it up a few times. It takes like ten seconds, so I don’t really get the annoyance. Keeping a jug nearby is the obvious move but I just use the sink when I get up for coffee. The way I see it, the mist is a bonus feature, not the main point. If constant mist is what you want, you’re basically asking for a humidifier with a tiny tank, so yeah, you’ll be babysitting it. I treat it like a fan first and the water stuff as extra when I remember.
Mine slid on carpet. Not a ton, but enough that I kept having to readjust mid session. Ended up putting a yoga mat under it and that fixed it. So no, it doesn’t magically stay put just because you’re lying on it.
The whole “feels way stronger” thing gets thrown around a lot, but I wouldn’t count on it being a night and day difference. I had one for a while and honestly, the trigger and grip annoyed me enough that I stopped reaching for it. It does focus the water, sure, but if your house has average pressure, you’re still just pushing the same amount of water through a tinier hole. It’s not magic.

The solar panel on this thing is more of a helper than a full power source. If your yard is genuinely shaded for most of the day, you’re going to be plugging it in more often than you’d like. I’ve seen people assume these things just run forever on a bit of ambient light, but that’s not how it plays out in practice.

Foggy window sounds like a minor issue compared to how much of a pain these things are to keep clean anyway. Mine does it too and I stopped caring after the first week. If you can still read the line, it’s working fine.
Solid objects will cut down on the range, no way around that. I had mine tucked behind an armchair for a while and saw no change, but once I moved it closer to the baseboard I noticed activity drop off within a few days. One pull clears it? That depends on what’s stuck and where. No device is a guarantee. The three-step thing is just how you use it, not a promise that it always works first try.

I swapped my oil radiator out for a ceramic plug-in unit about two years ago and the difference is pretty stark. The radiator would heat the whole room over an hour or so, but it took forever. You feel it right away, but it’s only really warm if you’re sitting within a few feet of it.
The thing that got me was the noise. My old radiator was dead silent. Just the occasional tick now and then. This thing has a fan running constantly and it’s not loud, but it’s there. When I’m trying to read or watch something in a quiet room, I notice it way more than I thought I would. That’s the detail nobody mentions in the ads. They all say quiet operation, but quiet means something different when you’re used to a radiator that makes zero sound at all.
Another thing is the room temp after you turn it off. With the radiator, the room stayed warm for a while because the oil held the heat. The ceramic one cools off almost immediately once you shut it off. So if you’re thinking about moving it around the house and turning it on just when you need it, that works, but you have to be okay with the heat just vanishing when you’re done. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know before you spend the money.
Mine does the same thing, but I noticed it depends on how I sit. If I’m slouched into the couch, it shifts every time. When I sit up straight with my back against the cushion, it stays put a lot better. Something about the angle of my shoulders changes when I lean forward, and the straps just don’t have enough grip to hold it.
The material doesn’t help either. It’s smooth enough that it wants to slide on fabric and skin alike. I tried wearing it over a thicker sweatshirt and that helped a bit, but then I couldn’t feel the heat as well.
Honestly, I think it’s just a design limitation. It’s not going to be rock solid no matter what you do. As long as it doesn’t fall off completely, I just reposition it when I get back to sitting still.
Strong mode is for spot treatment, not a daily routine. I keep it for the rough patches that normal mode won’t touch, then switch right back. If you’re hitting your whole mouth with it every day, you’re asking for trouble. Your gums will let you know when you’ve overdone it.
I wouldn’t want to wrestle with that thing on a ladder, but not because of the weight. It’s the hose. Once you get up there the hose is pulling in some direction and you’re fighting that while trying to keep the nozzle aimed at the siding. One hand for the Jetterix, one for the ladder, and the hose is doing whatever it wants. That’s a no from me.
I did the whole two-story thing last year with a regular nozzle and it was annoying enough. The Jetterix is fine when you’ve got solid footing, but the second story is just not where I’d use it. I’d rather do the bottom half from the ground and figure out something else for the top. Maybe one of those extension wands or just a different nozzle.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, but you’d have to be a lot more comfortable on a ladder than I am.
