The app handles client calls better than I expected, though I mostly use it for short check-ins rather than full meetings. One thing worth knowing is you can keep your phone on speaker and just use one bud, which feels less awkward than both in during a work call.
Mine synced over fine when I went from an old Samsung to an iPhone, but I only had maybe three months of readings at that point. The app did look different on iOS though, took me a day to find where all the charts went.
Mine mostly sits in my carry-on bag when I travel, and I’ve noticed hotel outlets seem a bit steadier with it, but honestly I never expected much from little stuff like chargers. The cooler phone charger thing doesn’t sound crazy to me though.
For reading in a tent I’d still grab a proper lantern. Mine lives in my carry on and the light is fine for finding stuff in a hotel room, but curled up with a book it felt like too much work. The repellent side never really did anything for me either.
I mostly treat the remote like a bonus and not something I count on from another room. When I travel I usually just set the timer and walk out, that part has been reliable every time. Remote works great when I’m right there though.
I noticed the softer feel too. The old red one always felt like it was pressing hard around the face, more like a rigid cup. The ResQVac mask has a little more give, so it sits closer without that stiff edge digging in. I keep mine in my carry on since I fly a lot and it barely takes up space. I tried the adult mask on myself once just to see how it sits and it sealed fine around the mouth and nose. Didn’t actually use it on anyone yet though, so I can’t say how it behaves in a real situation. But just comparing the feel, the newer one is definitely less awkward against the face than the old style.
I’ve been using it on my 12 lb guy for a few months now and it stays put fine. The strap holds snug once you get it set right and it hasn’t rubbed him or anything. I toss it in my bag when we travel and it’s light enough that he forgets it’s on.
Mine mostly lives in my car trunk for hotel parking lots and it’s been handy for blowing crumbs out of the cupholders too. For shelves I’d just keep the trigger barely pulled and sweep the dust toward the floor instead of fighting it in the air. It’s small enough to store in a suitcase which is why I grabbed it.
Mine’s been in a stuffed wallet for about 4 months now and it still rings every time I test it. Signal was never an issue for me, even with cards right on top of it.
Mine actually handles it better than I expected. I’ve got clips from a trip last month where I’m riding in and out of tree cover and the shadowed sections still show plenty of detail. The sky blows out a bit in those spots instead, which I’ll take any day. So I don’t think dark shadows are just how this camera works, might be worth checking your settings.
I usually turn mine off when the ceiling fan is running because the airflow from above seems to fight the cooler’s output. In my hotel room last month it actually felt warmer with both going. So I just pick one depending on where I’m sitting.
I’m charging mine roughly every five or six days, but I’m also not home a ton so it’s not like it’s working around the clock. I mainly use it when I’m actually around to hear if it makes a difference. Honestly, the charging hasn’t bothered me that much.
I actually had the same thing happen the first few days. The side stabilizers felt like they were poking right into the sides of my knee when I was sitting at my desk or in the car. I almost loosened the whole thing up out of frustration. But after about a week of wearing it off and on, it seemed to settle into place better. Maybe the padding softened up a bit or I just got used to where it sits. I also found that if I pull the brace up just a touch higher on my thigh before I sit down, the stabilizers line up differently and stop digging in. I travel a lot and wear it on longer flights sometimes, so I know exactly what you mean about sitting for a while. It does get more noticeable the longer you stay seated. I would give it a bit more time before you give up on it.
I really wouldn’t overthink the daylight thing. UV-C is UV-C, and the bulb is doing its job whether the curtains are open or not. The bigger thing for me is just making sure I’m not in the room when it’s running, since that’s the part that actually matters. I run mine mostly at night anyway just because it’s easier to remember to stay out of the way.
I keep mine in the car and use it for ash after camping trips, so it gets that fine gray dust pretty often. It picks it up fine, but I do have to tap the filter out afterwards or the suction drops noticeably. Takes like thirty seconds, so not a big deal for me.
That’s pretty much how it goes. I’ve used mine a few times on little door dings and the same thing happened to me. The first couple times I was in a hurry and just didn’t give it enough time to break down all the way. A quick second pass with a dry part of the cloth usually sorts it out.
I’ve also noticed it depends on how much pressure I’m putting on it. If I’m too light with it, the film shows up more. Once I started pressing down a bit firmer and doing a few extra circles before wiping it off, I stopped seeing it as much.
It’s not a big deal anyway, it’s not like it ruined the paint or anything, just looks a little cloudy until you clean it up.
Mine handles heating fine noise-wise, but I can tell it’s working harder than in cooling. It’s not a huge deal to me, but if you’re super sensitive to hum at night, you might notice it. I just run it during the day when I’m moving around.
I get the comparison because they’re both for back pain, but they really don’t feel the same to me. The TENS always felt kinda tingly and surface level, whereas the Back Restore is more of a heavy, thumping vibration. It’s like the difference between a buzzer and someone actually working out a knot, if that makes sense.
