MemberThinking about getting the Qinux BreezaMax but I know I’ll misplace the remote. Does it have a spot to store it on the fan itself? Just wondering if that’s a hassle for anyone.

MemberI had the same concern before getting mine, and the remote is pretty small and slim, so it can definitely disappear if you just leave it on a nightstand. What worked for me is using the wall mount hooks that came with it. I stuck the fan on the wall near my desk and just keep the remote sitting right on top of the base when I’m not using it. The top is flat enough that it doesn’t slide off. It’s not like there’s a dedicated slot or magnet for it, but as long as you pick a regular spot and stick to it, it’s fine. The buttons are also pretty basic, so you could honestly just use the controls on the fan itself if the remote goes missing. I mainly use the remote for speed changes from the couch, but it’s not a dealbreaker if it vanishes.

EthanFreeMemberI’d probably just leave the remote on my nightstand and use the buttons on the fan itself. That’s what I do with most of these small remotes. If it doesn’t have a built in spot, I’m not going to fight it.

MemberMine came with a little cradle on the back of the fan that the remote clicks into, so it’s got a home if you actually use it. I still set it down next to my coffee most days though, so the cradle only helps if I remember it’s there.

MemberIf the remote is small and slim that’s already half the problem. My experience with these tiny clickers is they end up under a couch cushion or in a hoodie pocket within a week. The fan itself usually has physical buttons on the unit, so losing the remote isn’t the end of the world. You just have to get up to change the speed, which kind of defeats the point of having a remote in the first place. I’d check the listing photos or user pics to see if there’s a slot or clip on the back. If there isn’t, plan on treating the remote like a TV remote and keeping it in one spot. Otherwise you’ll be digging around for it every time you want to turn the fan down.

MemberMine never had a cradle, just clipped onto the side vent.

MemberThe remote situation wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I mostly use the buttons on the fan itself during the day, so the remote just lives in a drawer until I need it for the oscillating settings at night. That’s really the only reason I fish it out. The fan has been running in my bedroom for about two months now and I haven’t lost the remote yet, mostly because it stays put when I’m not actively using it. I get why people worry about small remotes, but this one hasn’t been an issue in my case.

MemberMine just sits on a shelf when I’m not using it, and I’ve only misplaced it once in a few months. The fan buttons are easy enough that losing the remote isn’t a big deal for me.

Emma ReadsMemberMine lives clipped to the back of the fan when I’m not using it. I still managed to lose it for a week because I carried the fan to another room and the remote stayed behind on the couch.

MemberI’ve had mine a few months and the remote honestly hasn’t been an issue. It’s magnetic, so it just sticks to the front of the fan when I’m done with it. Way less fussy than my old tower fan where the remote was always sliding off somewhere.

MemberI don’t buy the “easy to lose” thing being some big flaw. Half these remotes are tiny regardless of brand, so that’s on you, not the fan. Mine sits on a windowsill and I’ve never had an issue. If you’re that worried, just use the buttons on the unit.

MemberThat would bug me too. If there’s no built-in spot, it’s basically guaranteed to vanish in my house. Curious if anyone actually keeps track of theirs long term.
6 de October de 2026 at 22:27 #14651Nina
MemberThe idea that a remote being losable is some kind of flaw never made sense to me. Small remotes are small remotes, and this one is no different from the one for my TV or speaker. If you’re the type who loses things, a built-in holder won’t magically fix that.
6 de October de 2026 at 22:42 #14652Mike Hall
MemberI just leave mine in a drawer next to the bed and grab it when I need it. It’s small, yeah, but no smaller than my TV remote, and I haven’t lost that yet.
6 de October de 2026 at 22:49 #14653
Tom CallMemberMine actually came with a little slot on the base so it slides right in. Never lost it once. That said the remote is pretty small so I get why people would.
7 de October de 2026 at 01:35 #14657
LauTopMemberMine clips onto the back, so it stays put.

MemberMine has a spot on the base where it sits, so it doesn’t wander off on its own. The remote is small, but I just drop it back there out of habit now. If you’re the type to leave it on the couch or in a pocket, though, it’ll still disappear like any other tiny remote.
7 de October de 2026 at 02:02 #14659
Luis_A91MemberNot sure about a dedicated spot, but the remote is honestly tiny. I’d probably end up keeping it in a nightstand and just reaching over when I need it. That’s been my routine with basically every small gadget remote I own.
7 de October de 2026 at 02:51 #14664Elena Voss
MemberMine has held up fine without any fancy storage. I just keep the remote on my nightstand and it hasn’t wandered off yet. Small remotes get lost when people toss them everywhere, not because the fan is missing a slot.
7 de October de 2026 at 03:00 #14665
Chris MillerMemberMine doesn’t have any storage spot at all and I’ve never had an issue. It just lives on my dresser and I grab it when I need it. Small remotes only get lost if you’re careless with them.
7 de October de 2026 at 03:32 #14669
Ben KerrMemberI’d rather keep a remote in a drawer honestly.
7 de October de 2026 at 03:37 #14670
StanMemberI think it’s only an issue if you’re the type who loses remotes constantly. Mine just rides in my carry on pocket and I’ve never had a problem on trips or at home. The fan itself is what I’m carrying around, so the remote tagging along is no big deal.
7 de October de 2026 at 04:09 #14674
L_ParkerMemberMine doesn’t have a built-in holder and I’ve still managed to keep track of it for a few months. I just set it on top of the fan when I’m done, since the top is flat enough for that. Works fine so far.
