It’s not a huge difference but I tried it both ways and the ice chamber does give a bit more of a chill for the first hour or so. If your office gets really warm it might be worth messing with, but honestly water alone still does something.
Pretty much what everyone else said. I run mine all day in my office and it’s barely a blip compared to what a space heater or a real AC would cost. The bigger annoyance for me is just remembering to top off the water, not the electricity.
I noticed the same thing with video apps on mine. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely there, especially if you’re watching something with a lot of fast talking. Kind of annoying if you’re trying to watch a quick clip while parked, but I don’t really use it for that anyway.
Honestly I don’t overthink it that much. I just tighten mine until it feels snug but not like it’s cutting off circulation, and adjust if it slips during the day. You’ll figure it out after wearing it a couple times, it’s not that delicate.
It’s just Bluetooth, you’re fine. No WiFi involved at all, mine pairs straight to the phone and works without a hitch even when my home internet is acting up. Does what it needs to do without any fuss.
Can’t say for sure about the CarbonOne, but most of those digital screens stay on constantly. Probably not bright enough to be a problem unless you’re really sensitive to light.
I just don’t yank it out like I’m starting a lawnmower and it’s been fine so far. Feels like one of those things where if you treat it like it’s fragile it’ll be okay.
I just time it for a quick wash and don’t stress about the exact minutes. Works fine for my car, no issues.
I’d just grab one and not stress about it. The battery in these things lasts way longer than you’d expect since it’s basically just sitting there dormant.
Honestly I haven’t used translation long enough to really notice, but I’d guess it drains faster since the buds are doing more work. I figure as long as the case can top them up quick it’s not a huge deal for a trip.

Hard to say for sure without knowing the exact TV model, but I think it’s probably fine. The HDMI standard has been backwards compatible for ages, so a port from ten years ago should still pass video without a hitch. Might be more of a question of whether the TV can handle the resolution Flixy tries to output, but usually that negotiates itself.

I’ve had the app drop out on me a few times too, mostly when I’m flying a bit further out than I probably should. The wind thing with the battery is real, but honestly, for what it costs and how easy it is to toss in a bag, I still think it’s fine for weekend trips.
