I’ve had mine on a hub for a while and honestly the wireless part never cared. What got me was the car side. My head unit would act like the adapter vanished for a second when I plugged something into the other port, screen would blink and then come back. Didn’t drop the phone pairing, just a little hiccup on startup.
I ended up moving the hub to the console outlet instead of the dash one, mostly because of cable clutter, and that blink basically stopped. No idea if it was the port or just dumb luck.
The other thing is heat. With two things drawing off the same spot the adapter got noticeably warmer to the touch. Still worked, but I noticed it. So it’s less about the wireless connection and more about how your car handles the power split. Some cars are fine, some get moody.
The stabilizers really don’t make it feel stiff like you’d expect. A plain sleeve actually bothered me more because it bunched up behind my knee when I bent it. The DrFlexa stays flat and just moves with you.
I tried a wire head on our patio moss and it was honestly more hassle than the line for me. It grabs the moss but also snags on every little edge, and I spent more time untangling than trimming. For light green stuff in cracks I’d just spot treat it instead of buying a whole head.
Mine actually went dead on me once because I forgot it existed for like two months, so now I just plug it in whenever I notice the battery getting low. Twice a week use should stretch pretty far though.
I just count by how much traffic I actually see. If I keep finding droppings in a certain corner, that spot gets an extra pouch. Otherwise one per room has been fine for me, even in semi-open spaces.
I think the mild heat is just how this one works. I got mine about a month ago and had the same thought at first, especially since I usually use a plug-in heating pad for my neck. But after using it more I realized the heat is more of a secondary thing. The compression and vibration are doing most of the work, and the warmth is just there to help things loosen up a bit.
I actually ended up preferring it that way after a while. With my heating pad I always have to keep checking that I’m not burning myself, but with this I can just strap it on and do stuff around the house without thinking about it. It’s more of a constant gentle warmth than a deep heat session.
If you really want that intense heat feeling, this probably won’t scratch that itch. But if you can accept it as a nice extra rather than the main feature, it works fine.
I never got a pouch or case with mine either, just the box it shipped in. But honestly, for the price, I wasn’t expecting one. I just keep the whole thing in a small pencil case I had lying around, and that works fine for keeping the tips together.
I use mine mainly for thinner stuff, but I did try a thicker shake once and it was fine. Not perfect, but way better than shaking it by hand. I think the key is not loading it up too full.

If your main worry is regular call quality, I’d probably just stick with what works until it stops working. The translation part is cool and all, but if your current ones are fine on calls, that’s already half the battle. I’d only switch if you actually need the translation feature on a regular basis.
I tend to switch hands after a bit, but that’s just habit from using any handheld tool. I’ve had mine out for a full battery doing the walkway and it didn’t feel like it was getting heavier as I went. I wouldn’t say it’s a problem.
I actually think the phone matters more than people make it sound. Maybe I got a dud, but mine wouldn’t even show the camera feed until I had the app open and connected first. It flew fine without it, but I had no idea what I was recording, which kind of defeats the purpose for me.

Mine does the same thing, pauses for a second or two and then keeps going. I just assumed that’s how it regulates the temperature once the room gets to where you set it. Hasn’t bothered me.
I feel like it would probably stay put well enough at a desk since you’re mostly sitting still. I haven’t tried one myself, but the strap design seems like it would hold things in place for that kind of use.
Honestly, I think people worry too much about it. If your old fan is that loud, pretty much anything will be an upgrade. I don’t have the BreezaMax, but I doubt the medium hum is going to keep you up.
I got one for basically the same reason as you and honestly it’s been fine. The app setup took maybe five minutes the first time, now I just charge the battery and unfold it before I head out. It’s not like you have to recalibrate everything every single flight.
I’ve heard other people say the same thing about UV sanitizers in general. That ozone-like smell seems pretty common with these kinds of lamps, nothing too unusual.

I’ve been using both for a while now and I’d say they do different things. The humidifier keeps my throat from getting dry, but the tape actually helped me feel more rested in the morning. It’s not a huge difference, but I notice it.
