Mine handled the moss between my pavers fine, and I didn’t have to keep stopping to bump the line. It did take a couple passes to get down into the deeper gaps though. Way less annoying than replacing line constantly, that part alone was worth it for me.
I’ve taken mine off a few times and the ring doesn’t always come back. Last time I wiped it with a damp cloth and it was gone for good. Might just depend on the glass.
Mine actually surprised me in a tall room. I set it on the coffee table aimed at the couch and it kept me comfortable all evening, even with the ceiling way up there. Not saying the whole room warmed up, but for sitting in one spot it did the job.
I don’t own either, but my sister has the DappSmile and I’ve watched her use it a couple times. It’s definitely more of a buzzing sensation than a scraping one, which surprised me. She says it’s gentler on her gums than her old pick was. Whether that’s worth the price is up to you.
Mine’s been in a normal case since day one and it’s fine. The fit isn’t snug around the wings but it doesn’t bother me at all. I just use whatever case is clean that week.
I’m one of those people who forgets to close apps and has like 14 browser tabs open, so I was bracing for the worst with switching. For me, the FitiBeats actually handle it better than I expected. What I noticed is that they don’t try to connect to both devices at once, which is usually where things go sideways with other earbuds I’ve owned. It just sticks with whatever you connected to last.
The one thing that threw me off at first is that there’s no real “switching” button. You just have to pause whatever you’re listening to on one device and hit play on the other. If you do that, it picks up pretty fast. If you leave music paused on your laptop and then try to take a call on your phone, it can get a little confused for a second, but nothing that requires forgetting the device.
I haven’t had to re-pair them once since the initial setup, so that part is definitely not a hassle.
Mine barely gets warm at all, honestly. I’ve had it plugged in since spring and I only really noticed any heat when I first got it and checked on it daily. After that initial week or two, it just sort of settled in and stays pretty much room temp whenever I happen to touch it.
I had mine on a pretty small side table for a few weeks and it never gave me any trouble. The bottom part is where most of the weight is, so it doesn’t feel top heavy at all. I accidentally bumped it a couple times when reaching for my phone in the middle of the night and it just kind of shifted a little instead of tipping.
The cat thing is a different story though. My friend’s cat knocked mine off the table once when she was housesitting, but that was a full on jump onto the table, not just brushing past it. I think for normal cat behavior like rubbing against it or sniffing it, you’d probably be okay. The surface material of your nightstand matters too, if it’s super smooth and polished, that could change things. Mine is on a slightly textured wood surface so that might be helping.
I wouldn’t use it as my only garage cleaner honestly. The 15 minute runtime goes fast if you’re trying to do a full sweep out and not just spot cleaning. I’d rather grab a cheap corded blower for that job and save this one for quick touch ups outside.
If you’re a restless sleeper I’d say skip it. I tried a similar mouthpiece and spent half the night aware of it sitting in my mouth, which almost felt worse than the snoring. The jaw thing bothered me way more than it slipping around.
I wouldn’t expect major problems with an older machine. I put mine on a 20 year old Ryobi and it just clicked into place like it was made for it. The only thing I noticed is that the extra weight of the steel head feels a bit different when you’re swinging it around, but that’s more of a handling thing than a fitting thing.
I noticed the lag mostly depends on my network speed more than anything else. On a good connection SpyFocus feels close to real time, but if my Wi-Fi is acting up it gets pretty choppy. My old camera was similar in that way, so I didn’t see a huge difference overall.
I’ve seen a few demos of it and the one pull thing seems more like a best case scenario. If the object is stuck in there good, I imagine you’d need to reset and try again. Still seems better than nothing for a home kit, but I wouldn’t treat it like a magic wand.
Honestly mine has been the opposite of what a lot of people are saying here. The safe zone alerts on my Zindoggo felt like they took forever, and by the time I got the notification my dog was already two streets over. I get that no GPS is perfect, but for a “virtual fence” it felt more like a loose suggestion than an actual boundary. The old tracker I had actually pinged me faster, so yeah.
I honestly don’t get the comparison. I tried a TENS unit years ago and hated that pinchy, electric feeling. The Back Restore is completely different. It’s more like lying on one of those shaking massage platforms at the gym, but focused right on your lower back. The vibration is deeper and more physical, not that nerve-zapping tingle at all.
I grabbed one of those stretchy jersey cases from a multipack and it worked way better than my regular cotton ones. The stretch just molds around the wings instead of fighting them. Still looks a bit odd on the bed but at least it stays put during the night.
That brief pause is pretty normal from what I’ve seen. It kinda does its own thing depending on how hard it’s working. I wouldn’t worry unless it starts doing it constantly or the temp changes noticeably.
I think any USB-C cable will be fine, honestly. These things are pretty universal now. I’d just grab whatever’s lying around and not worry about it too much.
Honestly, it’s fine. People act like brick is some kind of impossible material, but a masonry bit and a decent anchor and you’re done. The screen is light enough that even a couple of plugs will hold it no problem. Just don’t overthink it.
I just keep the remote on my desk next to me, so range has never been an issue for me personally. I guess if you wanted to control it from the other side of the room it might be a bit hit or miss depending on where you put the unit.
Honestly I wouldn’t overthink it for a bedroom with afternoon sun. I have mine in a similar spot and it does what it needs to do. The remote is nice for adjusting at night but that’s about it.
I only use the app to check framing before I start recording, then I turn WiFi off. That seems to help a lot.
I think for a 12×12 room it should be fine. I’ve got one in my office and it handles the heat alright.
