Foggy window doesn’t really bother me. As long as I can see the line, it’s doing its job.

Noise reduction helps but it’s not a magic filter. I used mine in a busy food court and it caught most of what I said as long as I didn’t talk too fast. If there’s a sudden loud announcement or someone shouts right next to you, it’ll struggle. Airport cafe should be fine.

I keep mine on low speed and do a quick pass maybe five minutes after pulling the food off. The warmth loosens the gunk but the brush isn’t fighting a ton of heat. I wouldn’t push it past that though, no reason to cook the bristles.

That film shows up when I don’t work the cloth long enough too. I’ve found it’s easier just to do a quick second pass with a dry microfiber instead of trying to get it perfect in one go. Once it dries fully it’s a pain, so I always check right after.

Keep it away from fabric at least. I don’t care what the manual says about clearance, I’ve seen too many of these things get shoved under a blanket or against a bed and it’s just asking for trouble. Mine sits out in the open near the foot of the bed and the cord reaches fine. Just measure your distance to the outlet before you commit to a spot.
