I had the opposite thing happen. Mine barely foamed at all, just a little fizz around the drain opening. Kind of wondered if I didn’t add enough hot water. Maybe it depends on how much gunk is in there.
I think it’s just part of the deal with these cameras. Mine will sometimes send the notification while the bird is still there, other times it’s clearly after they’ve left. The app seems to prioritize recording over sending a quick ping, so if it’s busy doing that, the alert just waits its turn.
For me it was a bit more noticeable than I expected. I mainly wear joggers or looser pants so it wasn’t a huge deal, but I wouldn’t want it under anything fitted. You can feel the side supports pressing against the fabric.
I have a similar steel head and yeah, they do throw stuff around. The wires grab and flick everything up, way more than nylon ever did. I just wear eye protection and keep the speed a bit lower near anything I don’t want peppered with debris. Sounds pretty normal to me.

I’ve never actually heard a rabbit-style one up close, but the WineCork Pro is pretty quiet. It’s more of a quick hum than anything loud. I wouldn’t worry about it bothering people at dinner.
Kind of sounds like you need the phone if you want anything more than step counts. I wouldn’t overthink it though, most of these budget watches work the same way.
I’ve messed around with the listen and repeat mode on mine a bit, and it’s fine for getting the basic hang of a phrase. The voice recognition catches me most of the time unless I’m mumbling or the room is noisy. I wouldn’t rely on it for perfect accent training, but for a few travel phrases it’s totally usable.

I’ve heard the 6 week thing too but mine’s always fine going longer. I think people worry too much about the exact number. If he can see and isn’t getting knots, a few extra weeks isn’t hurting anything.
I’m kind of in the same boat, using mine mostly at home or coffee shops. The data saver mode is fine, but I haven’t noticed a huge difference unless I’m in a spot with really weak signal. Honestly, the battery backup and being able to take it around town without worrying about roaming is enough for me, so I don’t think it’s overkill.
I haven’t timed mine on high exactly but it’s always made it through a full cleaning session without dying. The 90 minute claim is probably on low speed but for a couple grills on high it should be plenty.
I think people might be overthinking the precision a bit. For something like a tree branch moving around, the zones just aren’t that fine tuned in my experience. I’d probably try adjusting the camera angle slightly instead of relying on the zones to do all the heavy lifting.
Probably fine for that. I wouldn’t expect crystal clear detail across the whole room but it should show you if something is on the couch.
I’ve only used mine a handful of times so far, but I noticed it stumbles a little when someone talks really fast. Not enough to kill the conversation, just a small delay here and there. Might depend on the language pair or something.
I just use mine for light stuff, so I can’t really speak for heavy dried on mud. But I will say the adjustable pressure ring is nice for switching between a wider spray and a more focused jet without messing with the hose tap.
Honestly, if you’re sitting near it I think you’ll be fine even without ceiling insulation. It’s not like it’s trying to cool the whole house, just the spot you’re in.
Thanks for the input everyone, that helps. Sounds like it drains a bit faster but nothing too crazy for regular use. I’ll just keep the case handy and not worry about it too much.
I think most of the time when they list battery life, it’s for the lowest fan setting without any extras running. I usually keep mine on medium and skip the ice, and I get maybe 6 or 7 hours out of it, which is fine for me. The ice probably does pull a little extra power, but I haven’t really tested it side by side or anything.
