The cold shouldn’t be an issue, mine has sat through some pretty harsh winters and it kept running fine. I think people overthink the “open space” thing too, the soundwaves still bounce around enough to cover a typical garage. It’s not a miracle worker but for a small space like that it does the job.

I oiled mine once when I first got it, mostly because I had mineral oil lying around, and that’s it. It’s been maybe six months and the handle still feels fine, no cracks or anything weird. I think people make more of a fuss over beech wood than it needs. You’ll probably be okay just leaving it alone unless it starts looking dry.

in reply to: Glokore Therapy Mask vs old red light panel, anyone switch? #6652

I think the coverage difference is real but it kind of balances out for me. The panel forced me to sit still for 20 minutes, so I’d cut sessions short. With the mask I just wear it while doing chores or watching something, so I actually hit the full 15 minutes every time. I’ve gotten better results from the mask just because I’m consistent with it.

Good to know, thanks for the replies. Sounds like I can just plug it in by the counter and not stress about it. I’ll probably just do that and see how it goes.

Fair enough, that kinda settles it for me. Sounds like the age of the wiring isnt really the thing that matters with these. I’ll probably just grab one next time I see a deal and not worry about it too much.

I’ve noticed it too, but honestly I think it’s fine. Feels like it just needs a little more intent to pull, which probably isn’t a bad thing.
