MemberI’ve been using the Glokore Therapy Mask for a bit now and it’s fine, but I keep comparing it to the old red light panel I had. The mask is way easier to use while doing stuff, but I feel like the panel covered more area. Anyone else move from a panel to the Glokore Therapy Mask and notice a difference in how long you have to use it to see anything?

pixelnomadParticipantIt’s funny you mention that, because for me the shift was less about coverage and more about actually sticking with it. With the panel I’d skip sessions because setting it up felt like a whole thing. The mask I can just throw on while I’m reading, so I end up using it way more consistently even if each session is shorter.

MemberHonestly I think the whole “which one is better” thing comes down to what you’ll actually keep using. For me the mask wins just because I can wear it while doing dumb stuff around the house. Yeah the panel probably hit more surface area, but I wasn’t using it half as often.

MemberI get what you mean about the coverage thing. The panel definitely hits a bigger surface, no argument there. But for me the mask kind of makes up for it because I actually do the full session instead of cutting it short. With the panel I’d sometimes prop it up and walk away or get distracted and lose track of time. The mask forces me to sit still for 10 minutes, which sounds dumb but it makes the sessions more consistent.
I have noticed I need to be patient with the mask though. It took a few weeks before I saw anything, and even then it was subtle, like my skin just looked less blah in the morning. I do think the mask targets the face more evenly since it’s curved around everything, whereas my old panel had hot spots depending on how I angled it.
I would not say one is clearly better, just different routines really.

Lisa HydrowMemberI think the mask wins for me honestly. I never actually used my panel enough to see real results because it was such a hassle to sit there. With this one I just pop it on and fold laundry or whatever. Three months in and I’m seeing way more change than I ever did with the panel.

Lisa BassMemberI actually found the opposite. The mask takes me less time because I can just throw it on and move around, so I end up using it more often than I ever did with the panel. The panel sat in the corner and I’d forget about it for weeks.

MemberI think the coverage difference is real but it kind of balances out for me. The panel forced me to sit still for 20 minutes, so I’d cut sessions short. With the mask I just wear it while doing chores or watching something, so I actually hit the full 15 minutes every time. I’ve gotten better results from the mask just because I’m consistent with it.

Noah KentMemberI’d probably stick with the mask just because I can actually do other stuff while it runs. The panel might hit more surface area, but if I have to sit still for 20 minutes, I’m way more likely to skip it. That alone probably makes the mask worth it for me, even if results take a little longer to show.

MemberI actually think the timing question depends more on what you’re trying to fix. With the panel I felt like I needed longer sessions to notice anything, but the mask seems to work faster per session for the face specifically. Took me about six weeks of consistent use before I saw a real difference in texture.

Tom W98MemberCoverage is nice but it doesn’t matter if you skip sessions because you can’t be bothered to sit in front of a panel. I got way more consistent use out of the mask, and consistency did more for my skin than the panel’s bigger reach ever did.

MemberI think it just comes down to what you’ll actually keep doing. I had a panel years ago and it collected dust because I needed to sit in one spot and I just couldn’t bring myself to do it regularly. The Glokore is easy enough that I actually use it, which matters more to me than perfect coverage.
That said, I do notice I have to be more intentional with the mask for the lower face and jawline. The panel hit everything at once, no question. But the mask has that flexibility where you can shift it a bit if you want to focus on an area, which I don’t think people mention much.
I wouldn’t say the timing changed for me, but the consistency definitely did. Ten minutes a few times a week versus twenty minutes once a week, if I even remembered. I’ll take that trade.

Laura CheckMemberThe mask definitely feels slower to me in terms of raw power, but it kind of forces me to be consistent with it. I found I was actually using the panel less because setting aside time to just sit there got old fast. The mask wins for me just because it’s easier to do every other day.

MemberGuess I’ll just keep switching between both then.
