Mine’s still sitting in the drawer mostly because I kept forgetting to charge it, so I can’t speak to the sensitivity part. But the tray thing is real, it does keep the mouthguard from getting gross between uses. I’d honestly just ask your dentist if the twinge is a gum issue or an enamel issue before dropping the cash.
I switched to a titanium board mainly because I got tired of the plastic smell sticking around no matter how much I washed it. With raw chicken, a quick rinse and wipe actually does the job. I don’t find myself scrubbing at all. But here’s my thing: I still keep a separate small board for veggies. Not because of cross contamination panic, I just don’t like chopping onions and then having that taste hang around on the same surface. The titanium doesn’t hold odors, which is nice, but I’m just used to my routine. Cleanup is way faster than my old plastic one though. That thing had deep cuts that trapped everything. The new one has a smooth surface so nothing really sticks. I don’t baby it either. Just soap, water, done. Takes me maybe a minute.
I’ve been gaming on mine for about a month and haven’t felt any extra delay from the screen itself. I play a lot of shooters so I’d notice. If there’s lag it’s coming from the projector, not the fabric.
I don’t think the number itself is magic. For me it’s more about whether I actually feel things loosen up, and some days that happens quicker than others. If I’m still tight after 5 minutes I keep going, if not I get up.
I had a different experience than what you’re describing with the drugstore pick. Mine wasn’t even about tartar really. The thing that surprised me was how much easier it got around my back molars where I could never see what I was doing. The little light on the DappSmile actually made a difference for me there, not because it cleans better but because I could finally tell if I was on the right spot or just poking around blind. With my old pick I was basically guessing half the time.
That said I still don’t think it does anything a metal pick can’t do. It’s more about me being able to use it properly. The vibration is kind of a whatever thing for me honestly, I barely notice it doing much. It’s the visibility and the shape of the tips that made it click for me.
If your old pick is working fine for you and you can see what you’re doing, I don’t know that switching is some big upgrade. For me it was less about the tool being fancy and more about me being able to aim the thing. Worth mentioning since nobody else brought up the visibility part.
Mine handles a full flight okay but I still grab the big vac for the landing. The little brush is fine for edges, not the whole thing. For quick spot stuff it’s plenty.

The only thing I’d keep in mind is that the battery has a limit. It’s not meant to run for days on end, just to cover the gap until power comes back. For typical outages that’s fine. If you’re somewhere that loses power for long stretches regularly, you might want a separate backup plan anyway.
The tacky feeling disappears once it’s fully dry, so I’ve never really thought of it as a problem. Mine does the exact same thing and I just treat it as the board still being wet. I wouldn’t change how you’re cleaning it just because of that.

If your garage looks like a construction site, you might be out there swapping batteries and getting frustrated. I would say it’s a solid middle ground, not a toy, but not a powerhouse either.
It’s not silent, but I wouldn’t call it loud either. I’ve had mine running across the room and it just blends into the background after a few minutes. If you need total silence to fall asleep, you’ll probably notice it, but it never woke me up.
I think the main thing you’ll notice is how much more direct the stream is. It’s not just a smaller hole, it feels like the water is actually doing something instead of just pouring out. I’ve used mine on the car and it cut through the grime way faster than my old nozzle ever did.
Range is always going to depend on what’s between the device and the dog. I wouldn’t set it up expecting the full 10 meters to work perfectly every time. If there’s a fence, bushes, or even wind in the way, it’s going to cut the distance down a lot. I’d probably get it if the neighbor’s dog is reasonably close to your property line, but you might end up moving it around a bit to find the right spot.
Good info all around. Sounds like the consensus is the lenses handle the actual light sources better than the droplets themselves, which makes sense to me. I’ll keep them on for the next storm and just deal with the water on the glass as it comes.
Mine took a little while to feel normal too, but I never thought it was handle-heavy. I do most of my cutting with a pinch grip, so maybe that changes how the weight lands for you. I’d say give it a few more days before deciding.
