Just export a PDF before you switch. I did that when I moved phones and had a copy of everything without relying on the app to pull it back. Saved me the headache.
Mine actually did okay on the textured trim around my wheel arches, took the chalky look down a notch. It’s not a restorer and it didn’t last long, but it wasn’t the waste of time people here are making it out to be.
It’s more of a gum health thing in my experience. Mine helped with overall tenderness but the sharp brushing twinge was still there until I switched to a soft brush. So if sensitivity is the main issue I wouldn’t count on it alone.
Mine actually made the pressure feel softer, not stronger. My old head blasted harder even with the same weak plumbing. So if you want more force, this probably isn’t it.
Mine updated during a layover, not just at the end. Got a hit while the bag was still in the airport, which surprised me. So it’s not useless in the air, just kind of random when it pings.
I usually just stop it when I flip the head. Not because I have to, but because it feels weird to twist it while the brush is chewing away. The adjustment itself is easy enough, one hand, no tools. But doing it live kind of defeats the point since you still have to reposition your grip anyway.
That said, I don’t find it annoying. The pause is like half a second. Motor’s not loud enough to make me dread turning it back on either. I mostly clean the grates flat, then angle it for the side walls at the end, so I’m not flipping back and forth constantly. If you’re the type who likes to bounce between surfaces every few seconds, you might get tired of it. But for normal cleaning, it’s a non-issue.
Mine does the same little beep burst when it finishes. I actually like it since I usually walk away and do something else while it runs, so it’s my cue to go pull stuff out before it wrinkles.
No timer on mine either. I left it running once while I went to grab lunch and came back a couple hours later to a warm room and no issues, but that kind of made me realize I couldn’t trust it to shut off on its own. So now I just plug it in when I’m actually sitting there.
I’ve had mine hooked to a 55 inch for a couple months now. The 4K label is whatever, but it definitely looks better than plugging an old console straight in. Picture is clear enough that you’re not squinting at a blurry mess, which is all I really wanted.
I have used them in a packed food court and it was hit or miss. The noise reduction helps some but if there’s a lot of chatter right next to you, the earbuds still pick that up. You have to speak a bit slower and closer to the mic for it to catch your words properly.
I’m not really bothered by it. If anything, I prefer call volume being a bit lower since it keeps me from jumping when someone suddenly talks louder. Music and calls never feel the same on any earbuds I’ve owned anyway.
Water is honestly fine for everyday desk use. Ive had mine for a few months and only bother with ice when the afternoon sun is hitting my window directly.
The difference is real but not enough to make ice a daily requirement. Youll still feel the airflow and it beats having nothing.
I could smell mine the second I pulled them out of the shipping box, before even opening the foil. It’s a decent strength, not a punch in the nose, but you won’t be wondering if they’re working. They get way stronger once you tear the pouch open, so if you want the full effect, that’s when it kicks in.
I don’t think you’d be losing anything on calls, honestly. I picked these up mainly for the translation thing too, but I take regular calls with them all the time. My old pair was nothing special, just some basic buds, and the SonaBuds are at least as clear on my end. People I talk to haven’t said I sound worse or anything.
The mic does seem to pick up my voice well in normal conditions. I’ve taken calls while walking around outside and nobody complained about background noise. I can’t compare them to super high-end call earbuds, but compared to a standard older pair, they hold up fine.
I wouldn’t overthink the translation focus thing. At the end of the day they’re still regular Bluetooth earbuds, and calls work like they should.
It’s worth a shot on the light ones. I had a few hazy marks on my trunk from a brush at a car wash and it made them basically disappear from most angles. You won’t get a miracle on anything with real depth, but for what you’re describing it should do the job.

Cold water gives you that first few minutes of extra chill, I won’t argue with that. But unless you’re just sitting right next to it the whole time and constantly topping it off, the difference fades pretty quick once the tank hits room temp.
I tried the fridge bottle trick for a bit but honestly got lazy with it. Now I just fill it from the tap and turn it on. The thing still drops the temp in my office enough that I notice it when it kicks on, especially if the room’s been baking all afternoon.
I think the cold water thing is more about that initial blast hitting your skin than actual sustained cooling. If it feels better to you, sure, go for it. But I wouldn’t stress about keeping water cold all day. The evaporative effect is doing the real work anyway, not the starting temperature of the water.
Mine sits on a bookshelf across from where I sit and it seems to reach everywhere in the room. I haven’t really tested every corner, but I never notice a big difference from one side to the other.
It’s light enough, so I wouldn’t overthink it. I just used some decent wall plugs and it’s been fine so far. No cracks or anything.
