Mike89ParticipantNot as magic as the ads, live translate got kinda messy in crowded train stations with announcements. Battery survived a long travel day for me as long as I didn’t run translation the whole time.
Mike89ParticipantMine got two firmware updates in the first month and then nothing after that. The apps I use still work fine.

Mike89ParticipantSounds overhyped to me. I’d be surprised if it made a noticeable dent in most people’s bills. Seeing an actual meter or bill before/after is the only thing that would convince me.

Mike89ParticipantI use one at my desk and it’s fine most days, it gets a bit noisier if you whip up protein shakes instead of just coffee. Battery lasts me about a week with morning use so I only charge it occasionally. Cleaning is easy overall but the rim/underside of the lid collects gunk and needs a little brush sometimes.
Mike89ParticipantYeah same here, I think it’s mostly masking on deeper scratches. I just reapply every few weeks on the bits I care about since it’s quick. Maybe polish if you want it gone for good.
Mike89ParticipantBought one and move it between bedroom and office, it’s light and easy to carry. Fan is louder than I hoped on low but not unbearable for me, and it didn’t dry the room any more than my old heater. Feels a bit plasticky and not a huge step up from a decent ceramic, but it does warm up quick when you want it.

Mike89ParticipantAgree with Emily — it really depends on humidity. My cheap unit ran ~6–8 hours on medium, loud on high but quiet enough on low to sleep by. Ice gives a nice 20–30 minute hit then it’s just wetter, cooler-feeling air, not actual room temp drop. Filling is quick and it’s light enough to carry one-handed.
Mike89ParticipantTotally — tried a cheap wand like that and it was fiddly, so I use a little phone UV box for occasional deep zaps and wipes for daily stuff. Much less faff.
