Tried NuraFix on a couple of light scratches and it made them look a lot less obvious. Application was easy and quick, which I liked. But after a week the marks still show at certain angles and I’m not convinced it actually removed anything instead of just hiding it. Anyone had one vanish for good or is this just a temporary cover-up?

Used it on shallow scratches and they stayed much less visible after a month. Deeper ones still show at angles, so feels more like hiding than actually removing.

Tried it on a few light marks and it did help, but after a couple weeks the edges were still noticeable at certain angles. I think it mainly fills/hides rather than actually removing the scratch. If you need it gone for good you probably need polish or touch-up paint, depends what you need it for. For quick cosmetics it’s fine though.

Mildly disagree with calling it just a cover up; on super shallow hairlines a couple of mine actually disappeared after a week, but anything deeper still just looks masked at certain angles.

Not buying the “fixes it for good” hype. On my stuff it dulled hairlines for a while but they’d peek back at angles after a couple weeks. Fast cosmetic cover, not a real repair.

Yep, same deal for me — made faint hairlines disappear for a bit but deeper ones still show up at angles after a couple weeks. Application is super quick so I just reapply on the stuff I care about, not ideal but easy enough. If you want it gone for good you’re looking at polish or touch-up paint.

Yeah same here, I think it’s mostly masking on deeper scratches. I just reapply every few weeks on the bits I care about since it’s quick. Maybe polish if you want it gone for good.

Thanks, that matches what I saw. I think it’s mostly masking not actually removing paint, so I’ll just reapply the spots that bug me and consider proper polish later if it bothers me more.

I think with most of these spray-on scratch things you’re always going to see them again in certain light. I just look at it as a quick way to make the car look cleaner between washes rather than a permanent fix.

I kinda wondered the same thing. I figure if it fills them in temporarily that’s still better than nothing, but I’d rather know if it actually polishes them out.

that matches what I figured. It’s basically a filler that looks good for a bit but doesn’t actually fix anything. I’ll probably keep using it for quick touch-ups before I sell the car, but I’m not expecting miracles. Thanks for the replies, good enough to know I’m not the only one not fully convinced.

Kind of wondering the same thing. I used it on a scuff mark and it looked fine for a few days, but now I can still see it in the sun. Still seems to work okay for a quick fix when I don’t feel like breaking out the polish.
